"Morning Y/N! Something held you back this morning?" Namjoon asked as he saw me coming in the office.
"What? Am I not allowed to call in a bit later sometimes?" I chuckled.
"It's your fault for making me used to you coming first every morning." he chuckled too.
"You want coffee?" he asked.
"No thanks, I had one already. I'll be waiting for you in my office, we have a lot of work to do."

"So, did Seokjin find anything for us?" Namjoon asked as he walked inside my office and took a seat next to mine.
"Those bullets are indeed Russian and belong to the period when KGB was active." I said as I opened the file that Seokjin gave me.
"So they're no longer being produced?"
"Right. A man named Dimitri Ivanov was one of the main operatives of KGB in its last years. While the organisation was still active, he was secretly collecting the supplies of guns and bullets. Now he sells them to customers who are mostly from Europe. Park Sunghoo was his only loyal buyer from Korea."
"Let's say the Black Wolf did kill Park Sunghoo because he wanted to take his place... that means he must've gotten in touch with Dimitri Ivanov."
"That's what I thought too!"
"So we need to find a way to contact him... The problem is, that both Sunghoo and Chiwon had phones but there was no single contact saved in them. No list of recent calls, nothing."
"He's really good at it."
"Who? Black Wolf? You really believe he's behind all of this?"
"Of course I do Namjoon! It all makes perfect sense! He's building a criminal empire behind our back. Of course he has many helpers but he's on top of the food chain. He controls everything."
"If only we knew places where mafia members usually meet up."
"Yeah... Wait, that's it!"
"What?"
"Night clubs! A perfect place to for them to do business. Dark rooms, drunk people... it's a perfect mask!"
"So you're saying we should visit every night club there is in Seoul?"
"Of course not, that's too much work! My boyfriend could help us with that."
"Taehyung? What does he have to do with night clubs?"
"Well, he told me that he owns a few of them so he's surely familiar with top nightlife spots in the town. He could help us narrow down our options."
"Wow Y/N you have sources for everything... I think 'the chief of the department' position would suit you."
"There's no way that could happen."
"Why not? Our current chief is retiring in six months and although people from the department don't get to choose the next chief, the council always looks if there's someone from the department competent enough for that role before they make their decision. And you're more than competent Y/N.
You have most solved cases under your name in the entire department, you're intelligent, skilful and you give your all in everything you do. There's no one more suitable than you
Y/N."
"Thanks Namjoon, but even with that I don't think I stand a chance."
"Then we have to find Black Wolf and solve the case. And we have six months to do so."
"Six months?! Are you insane?! Black Wolf has been hiding for years and no one even found a single trace of him and you expect us to find him and solve the case in six months?!"
"We can do it Y/N. I know it."
"I really don't understand what gives you so much confidence Namjoon.."
"You do."
Even though my head was filled with work stuff, one thought couldn't hide my excitement: the fact that I'll be seeing Jimin in just a few hours.
I already had so many questions I wanted to ask him planned inside my head, I was so curious to see how much he's changed but what I knew for sure is that no matter how much he's grown, he'll always have that same bright smile I last saw 12 years ago.
Once the clock hands hit 10 pm sharp, I quickly took my stuff and headed to the bar where I told Jimin to wait for me. It was near my workplace so I went there by foot.
After about 10 minutes of walking I finally saw the bar in front of me, but for a moment there a feeling of nervousness rushed through my body as I was unsure if I'll be able to recognise Jimin.
I saw a man in a long black coat standing in front of the bar, but because I was quite distanced from him, I couldn't see his face.
I texted Jimin that I've arrived and just when I sent the message , I saw the man in the coat checking his phone and then turning around, like he was looking for someone.
"Y/N?" I heard him calling my name as our eyes met, making my body freeze in a matter of seconds.
"Y/N!" he once again called my name as his lips curved into a huge smile.
He quickly ran to me, opening his arms widely and pulling me into his embrace.
"I can't believe we finally meet." he said breathing heavily as he ran to me really fast.
I was unable to say a word as this moment felt so unreal so I just buried my head in his chest while wrapping my hands tightly around his waist.
We stood like that in silence for some time, all the memories flashing in front of our eyes, all the overwhelming feelings rushing through our bodies.
"I still can't believe you're really here... You've changed so much but I was right about one thing, your smile remained the same." I finally spoke, making Jimin giggle.
"Let's go inside the bar and order our drinks, we have a lot to talk about." he said taking my hand and led me inside.
