Shock and Horror

"So, Let's see how your test results went"
The doctor said,
while she was scanning the result papers,
The doctor grew worried as she observed the more than concerning changes.
Something was definitely wrong.
"Hold on" she uttered out, And with that,
the doctor bolted out to the waiting room to tell everyone the bad news.

"What's wrong?" Kokichi inquired, "did you realize he was faking it?"
"No, he's not" the doctor replied.
"What is it?" asked Kaito.
"You'd better prepare yourselves," Tohru mused,
"I'm afraid he's suffering from Chilling Death Syndrome"
"No, this can't be true," Gonta's mother exclaimed,
"Gonta can't die, he's too young."
"What even is chilling death syndrome?" Gonta's father inquired.
"It's a very rare terminal illness with painful symptoms including;
Headaches,
Fatigue,
General weakness,
Loss of appetite,
Temperature fluctuations,
Pale skin,
Nausea,
Vomiting,
Unknown bruising,
weight loss,
And possible death."
"WHAT!? Please tell me you're making it up"
"I wish I was"
"How long has he got left to live?" Asked Tsumugi.
"We'll see if he recovers." Dr, Hatsune replied
"Just, Don't tell him the bad news, I'll do it later"

The doctor let out a sigh and walked back into the Diagnosis room.
"What's wrong?" Gonta inquired.
"Sir, I'm afraid you're suffering from Chilling Death Syndrome"
"What?!?" The entomologist never heard of that disease before,
But anything with the word death in it can be bad.
"I know," sighed the doctor
"Let's see what we can do to heal you."
"Don't worry, Gonta will try stay strong, like true gentleman"

Later, when Gonta was carried to a strange hospital room,
the doctor laid him down onto his bed.
"There there, everything will be fine"
The gentleman started to calm down from her words,
As she was installing the monitor, nasal cannula, and IV drip.
While Gonta slowly closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep...
