Doctor Speaking- We had all been in that cell for about a month. They had fed us nothing but moldy bread a bit of water. I was worried about everybody they were all starting to get sick. We couldn't be hear for much longer. I overheard the guards talking about a ray gun against the earth to wipe out the humans but they haven't been doing anything lately. Time was just slowly passing by. they had taken everything we had, my sonic screwdriver, River's vortex manipulator, and my phycic paper. There was no escape. Suddenly I heard footsteps down the hall. I looked through the metal bars and saw Madame Kovarian coming. I leaned back and groaned. I didn't feel like seeing her right now.

" Hello Doctor." I heard her say as she turned to look at me. I didn't look back at her.

" What do you want?" I said in almost a whisper.

" Oh, I just wanted to let you know that Gwen has gotten a ship with the ray gun on it and it will be ready to fire in two hours." she said

" If you are just firing a gun the why are you making Gwen do it? Why not do it yourself?" I asked.

"Because she will be locked in that ship with no way of escape and if it were me in that ship you would blow me up instantly but you wouldn't do that to your own daughter." she said chuckling. I glared. She then finally left down the hallway.

"What are we going to do?" Amy asked.

" We are going to use this." I said holding up the ships' remote that I had snatched from Madame Kovarian when she wasn't looking

" Where did you get that?" River asked

" Oh I took it from her and now we have to use it to reprogram the ship but it is going to take some time." I said

" Will you have it ready in the time before the ray gun is ready?" Amy asked

" I think so. I can try." I said beginning to mess around with it. One hour passed and I still wasn't done with it. The ship had already left to position itself in front of the earth.

" Is it done?" Rory finally asked

" No I need more time." I said

" Well you don't have much time left." he replied

" I don't know if i'm going to make it." I said. It was five minutes until good-bye earth and I still wasn't finished." Errrrrrrrrrrrr." I yelled throwing the thing to the ground. What do I do? Those minuted flew by any minute now the earth would explode and I can't do anything to help!

" I have got a choice to make. We all have a horrible choice to make right now." I said looking at everybody.

" What?" asked River

" We can let a whole race of billions of people die or we can destroy my daughter?" I said quietly. I can't. I just can't make that choice but I have to. I have to self destruct button for the ship that she is on but I can't push it.

" Doctor I think you know what we have to do." River said.

" But I can't." I said. " She is our daughter."

" I know but think of the billions of people. Think of the future of the human race that will never happen." She said. Tears filled my eyes. I knew what I had to do. I put my hand over the button and I looked at everyone else. They nodded and put their hands over the button too. By then we were all crying and with a quick movement all at once we dropped our hands on the button. As soon as we heard the explosion from a distance I grasped River in my arms and cried until I had no more tears. The guards had left my sonic on the ground outside the cell so I grabbed I and I got us out. We retrieved the TARDIS and left the terrible ship. I sat there in the control room with my face red hot with tears. I will never forget her. When I hit that button a piece of my heart fell and I will never get it back. After all of the the people I have lost I have a lot of missing pieces to my heart that can never be replaced

Gwen Speaking- When you travel with the Doctor, you never know what to expect. Each day you wake up and fight aliens and you know that that day could be you last. He was my friend. He was my dad. Most of all he was the best thing that ever happened to me.
