Half an hour later, Tom and I were outside Amelia’s flat, waiting for her. Martin had insisted in driving us, so we were in a silver van. I hope she would notice it was us. The rest of the boys had to leave, they had an important meeting to go to with the police, as they were the only ones yet to make statements. We’d left Nareesha and Kelsey in my flat. A moment after we arrived, we noticed her appear in the doorway, well, at least we presumed it was Amelia. She looked like she had been crying, just like us. She had on dark blue jeans, a woolly jumper and a warm, bright red jacket, paired with ankle boots. Her brown hair was naturally falling into place, shaping her young face perfectly. She looked very natural, just the type Nathan would go for. “Wow, she’s beautiful. Completely Nathan’s type.” Tom said, surprised. I just nodded. She opened the door to the van, and I helped her in, and without thinking, I  pulled her into a tight hug. It was all she needed, before she started sobbing.

“I’m sorry, t-this is a te-terrible introduction to m-me” She stammered through her cries.  “It’s ok, it’s ok, let it all out.” When Amelia had stopped crying, she hugged Tom too. “You’re beautiful babe, you’re completely Nathan’s type.” Tom repeated, this time to Amelia. “Thank you.” Was all she could manage. “So, Amelia, I would love for you to help us. We’ve only known you for five minutes, but you’re so genuine.” I smiled. “I want to help you. We need to find him.” She smiled weakly. “Oh, and call me Mia, I hate Amelia.” She let a small laugh escape her petite lips. “Ok Mia, could you tell us a bit about yourself?” Tom asked. “It’s just, we need to know where to find you, and a bit about your background, we just want to know you!” Tom laughed nervously, thinking it was maybe a bit too soon for these questions. However, Mia didn’t object.

“Sure, it’s only fair. My name is Amelia Hunter, and I recently moved to London to pursue my career in the fashion industry. So far, I’ve had some modelling jobs, but not many. What I’d really want to do though, is create fashion, but the modelling contract is getting me enough money to live comfortably in London, so right now it’s a waiting game. I moved down here when I was 16, and I finished a design course in fashion at a top London art school, receiving the best qualification you can get, but it’s harder than I thought, so I might have to settle for modelling. I work part time in Jamie Oliver’s London restaurant, but apart from that, I’m alone in my 2 bedroom London flat.  I’m 18, the same age as Nathan, yeah? I never really see my parents, they split up when I was little, my dad moved to New Zealand, and since moving to London, from a small village a few hours away, I haven’t kept in touch with my mum. She isn’t the typical ‘mum’. She distances herself from me, and let me do what I want as a teen, but weirdly, I felt I had more freedom when I left for London. Strange that? And I met Nathan at Liquid, but you know that, you know that we didn’t know each other long, but I swear to you, we had a connection, and I honestly really liked him. I don’t know what else to do or say to get my point ac-”

“We believe you Mia.” Tom interrupted her.

“But do you really believe me?” Mia answered back, unsurely.

“Of course we do! Well, Tom and I anyway.” I smiled. Mia raised her eyebrow, urging me to go on. “You know we’re in The Wanted yeah?” I began, as Mia nodded. “Well, Jay and Max, and our manager Jayne are a little bit unsure about us trusting you so easily, but there’s something about you which makes me know you aren’t going to use us, or lie to us, I’m not sure what it is, but it’s something. I’m sure the rest of them will love you straight away.” I looked at Mia reassuringly, and Tom smiled too. “Well, Martin, you gonna move or are we just gonna sit here all day?” Tom joked, as the van geared into action.

                                                                     * * *

Mia’s POV

“We’re back!” Siva shouted through his house, as he entered, Tom closely behind, with me trailing at the end. “And we’ve brought a visitor!” Tom added. I was suddenly unsure about whether this was the right thing to do. Yes, I had feelings for Nathan, strong feelings, but is chasing your feelings always the best thing to do when there’s a possibility you’re going to be disappointed? “Oi, scaredy cat, come on!” Tom laughed in his strong Bolton accent, dragging me into the living room, where I was met with a crowd of about ten people, their team. And in the corner looking at me, judging me, were Max and Jay.

I could feel their eyes burning into me, watching my every move closely, as if this was their territory, and I was an intruder, which, I suppose, in a way, I am. I waved my hand shakily. It was awkward for a moment, before they waved back.

“Um, could you give us a moment?” Tom said to the team. Everyone got up to leave the room, including a petite curly haired lady, whom Siva stopped. “Don’t be silly Jayne, you stay!” So this was the famous Jayne. Wow, she was beautiful, but also quite intimidating. “Make yourself at home Mia.” Tom gestured to the sofa that Jay and Max were sat on. Not wanting to refuse, I carefully perched on the end of it.

There was a tense atmosphere then, so tense you could probably cut it with a knife.

“So, it’s best you tell us the truth sooner rather than later.” Max broke the silence, speaking abruptly to me, a slight pang of annoyance, boredom even, in his voice. “Are you just here for the fame?”

I was quite shocked with this confrontation. Why would nobody believe that I was actually here for Nathan, I had feelings for him! I saw all their sceptical looks when I walked in, judging me, wondering if I was god enough for Nathan, or just a fame seeker. Judging by Max’s abrupt statement, I was guessing they thought the latter.

“I’m horrified, ashamed, embarrassed even, that you could even think that. Yeah, I know who you are, Max. I have your albums, I have your songs on itunes, and I went to your tour, but I’m not a crazy obsessed fan. I’m not here for the hell of it, just to see how much publicity, of fame I an get out of it. Do I really look like the type of person who loves the centre of attention? The answer’s no. Like I said to Tom and Siva, I really like Nathan. I only knew him for a few hours, but we had an unbreakable bond. Something clicked between us, and it was like I had found the one, my soul mate, and Nathan felt like that about me too, he told me. If you three don’t believe that, then fine. Siva and Tom believe me, so I will work with them, I don’t want to associate with people who think I’m a lying fame seeker, when I am the complete obvious.” I finished my speech, feeling proud of myself for getting my feelings out, but sad at the same time, because they seemed to hate me.

“Mia.” Jayne began. Oh, here we go. “I believe you.” What. “Me too Mia.” Jay answered. Did that actually just happen? Jay and Jayne both believe me? “Max, mate, if you don’t believe her, then that’s fine, but you’re on your own.” Jay continued, looking at Max, a glimmer of hope in his eyes.

It was silent for a moment, everyone just looking at Max, waiting nervously for his response. It was like they were announcing something huge, like the winner of a talent show, or something like that, but we were just waiting for a simple sentence from Max George, from The Wanted.

“No.. I think I believe you Mia.” Max finally said. I breathed a sigh of relief. Thank God for that.

So, that was a kind of filler chapter, but i wanted you to get a better understanding of Siva's kindness, and how much the girl cares for Nathan etc...

And, I didn't want Jay, Max and Jayne not to believe Amelia, so I didn't drag it on too long, haha!

let me know what you think ?
