I find this really weird.
We see the stars at night. We talk about how it shines and twinkles. We go on and on about how amazing God is, to create such miracles.
But we never speak about all the burning and explosions that the star undergoes for it to shine the brightest.
People usually don't take a deeper glance. All the hard work, perseverance, pain, break downs, and failures it takes to succeed is summed up in one word. Miracle. Or Luck.
It's also why we think that it's easy to succeed. No one discusses the effort and sacrifices it takes. We look down upon suffering. What we don't know is, often, suffering now, helps you succeed later.
But it's not pure struggle. I can promise you that. You will make friends on the way. You will have beautiful sunrises and sunsets, refreshing walks in the park, soothing melodies reverberating as you dance or sing to your heart's content, occasional meet-ups, small rewards on the way, and other little moments of happiness that cozy up in your sweetest memories. They make the struggle seem possible. They help you locate the speck at the end of the tunnel. They give you hope, that life isn't easy, but life is meant to be lived. Lived with people you love, doing things you love, making an effort to succeed in the way you've always dreamt of, and finally, it's meant to be spent happily.
(A/N- You know this. It takes both sunlight and rain for the flower to bloom.)
