Late and Lost

Y/N's POV
"Y/n?!" I heard my mom yell. "What?!" I said as I rubbed my eyes. "Hurry the hell up you're gonna be late!"

Ugh!

I had my clothes In my closet and the matress was just thrown in the floor since we hadn't moved in all the way.

We had only brought what was necessary since the moving truck had broken down mid way.

I checked the time and I wasn't late yet but I did miss the bus.

I quickly picked out my clothes and went to the shower.

I got out the shower and quickly put on my clothes. Some jeans and a hoodie with my vans. I got my bookbag and walked downstairs fixing myself a bit.

"Are you not going to eat?" My mom asked.

"No not today." We didn't really have much since we had just moved in.

"Why not?" My dad interfered.

"Just not hungry, that's all."

We arrived yesterday night and had time to fix only what we had because of course the moving truck broke down. Nothing ever goes right.

We literally moved mid school year.

"Well alright." She said and got the car keys to drop me off.

I went over to hug my dad since I was now getting ready to go. "Love you."

"Love you too, dad!"

"Alright hope you have a great day at school!" He yelled as I walked away.

I went ahead of her and walked out as she looked for a coat.

I got in the car and saw my mom walking towards the driver side.

She got in and started the engine.

"Oh! By the way your bus is 420. I don't know if you want to come in the bus later or want me to go pick you up?" She stated.

"You can come pick me up. I'll make sure to wake up early tomorrow so I can catch the bus."I said while looking at the window.

The rain did get us hard last night.

"Oh okay." She said making sure to not take her eyes off the road for a single second. I looked out the window and saw the big school.

"Alright take care and love you!" She said stoping at the school entrance. "Of course and love you too." I said with a smile. I closed the car door and walked towards the entrance.

Everyone knew where to go, I wasn't sure. I searched for someone who worked here, which wasn't that hard because he was standing right infront of me.

"Excuse me sir." I said he seemed to be 6'2. Geez.

"Yes?" He said looking down my way.

"Can you please tell me where the main office is?" I said trying not to make things awkward.

"Yeah, alright so you see, you go straight down to the end of the hall and take a left, you will see two doors you go there and you will see the sign that says main office." He instructed.

I did as he said. My parents did sign me up here but I never got a schedule. I walked through the two doors and I was met with the... Principal?

"What do you need?" The lady dryly asked.

"Hey, I came to ask for my schedule."I said.

"What's your name?" She replied coldly as she walked to her desk.

"Y/n L/n." I said. She started typing my name and printed out my schedule.

"Here you go." Once again she replied coldly.

I took my schedule and left.
