The following story takes place sometime in the eight year gap between chapters 36 and 38 of Narnia: The Golden Age | Book II
I strongly suggest you read the previous books to better understand what is going on, know who some characters are, and avoid spoilers. (If you've read the previous books, you know what and who I am talking about).
This will be a short story a la The Horse and His Boy. (I hope that makes sense to you for it makes sense to me)
