"Well Alana-May Judy, I'm Officer Stone. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to ask." he politely introduced, unlocking the hand cuffs. She pulled her wrists to herself, assessing the damage before walking back over to the bench without saying a word.

"Actually Officer Stone, could I have my phone call please?" Alana asked softly. He began to wonder whether the woman had been telling the truth about being Veronica's assistant since her behaviour seemed to show it. She was not being resistant and women who usually were party crashes, always had a mouth on them, unless they did it due to peer pressure. Alana on the other hand, didn't act like any of them. If she was his girlfriend's assistant, he wondered why Veronica hadn't told him about her. They had been together for six months and he thought that he knew most things about her work place, unless she was new of course.

"That can be arranged..." Cain replied. Trying to ease the tense atmosphere and brighten up her mood, since she would most probably be let go of in a couple of hours, Cain decided to make a joke.

"Is it okay if I quickly ask you a question Miss Judy?" Hesitantly, Alana nodded and a small smile formed on his lips.

"You wouldn't happen to know Judge Judy would you?" Considering that her name was also Judy, Cain was itching to know whether they had some sort of relationship. He had always liked her show.

"No." Alana answered flatly, not appearing to be amused by his joke at all.

"Not funny?" Cain grinned as she only continued to frown further whilst tugging down the dress.

"No." she repeated.

"Fair enough."

"Hey Bobby..." Alana began sweetly.

"No, I am not drunk." Alana rolled her eyes, glancing over at Officer Stone who was supervising her phone call and seemed to be hiding his laughter. Cain had never heard of someone being asked whether they were drunk and so couldn't help his laughter.

"Something happened and I kind of need you to pick me up please," she said softly.

"I'm not with her anymore. I just need you to pick me up and since I never usually ask you to, if you could do it this once, I'll owe you." Once the words, 'I'll owe you' left her lips, it looked as though Alana instantly regretted it and Cain decided to look away, leaving her to have her privacy.

"Police station!" Alana yelled, causing everyone in the station to stare at her. Shaking his head, Cain signalled for everyone to go back to work and not worry about her. Glancing at his watch, he realised that his shift had been over half an hour ago. He knew that he should leave but wanted to make sure that Alana left the station safely, without any hassle from anyone else, for example, Officer Lin. Feeling his phone vibrate, he read the message on his phone.

I'll come round to the station in half an hour when I've finished work. Can't wait to see you again.

Xxx

Cain couldn't help but smile at the text that Veronica had sent him. He couldn't wait to see her again either. Slipping his phone back into his pocket, he saw Alana placing the phone back onto the holder.

"Done?" Cain questioned.

"Done." Alana sighed, following him back to the cell before he locked the door and headed back to help work on other cases.

Cain heard her melodic voice before he saw her, just when he was about to check on Alana.

"Hey Cain. Oh, I just came to bail her out." Veronica stated, her smile instantly wiping off her face once she spotted Alana.
