Before I knew it, I had completed my ymbryne training and was ready to create my own loop somewhere. I didn't want to leave, I would have to say goodbye to the woman who took me and my brother in.
Tears were falling from my eyes as I stood outside the house. Miss Peregrine walked up to us and handed each if us a small vial of black liquid. "This will age you forward without the effects." She said.
We nodded. Then she handed me a box. "I'm very proud of you Magnolia." She smiled at me, I could see the tears forming her eyes.
"Thank you." I said quietly as I hugged her.
I opened the box to find a pocket watch.
"So you remember to rest your loop."
"I love it, thank you."
I turned it over to see my initials, MMM.
"MMM?" James asked as he looked over at it.
"Magnolia Marigold Magpie." I said, the tears began to pour out again. Miss Peregrine brought me into a tight embrace.
"Don't forget to write." She whispered.
We walked out of the loop and drank the contents of the vials. Within a few hours, Alexander and I had aged into 24 year olds while James aged into a 35.
We started walking...wondering where the world would take us.
