(Dieses Gedicht ist ausnahmsweise auf Englisch, einfach weil es so kam, und gilt all meinen Freunden, die mir während Corona halt gegeben haben und von denen ich hoffe, ihnen ebenfalls halt geben zu können, wenn sie ihn am meisten brauchen❤️)

I may not have a lot that I can give to you
But what I can gladly will.

I'm doing what I can so you can grow and thrive
'cause I am lucky
and awf'lly grateful
to have you in my life.

I know that I am just as broken as you are
but we can glue ourselves together
and we'll recall and count and honor every scar
and are there for each other for forever.

I can not do enough to show how much you mean to me
But what I can gladly will.
