Running in a pantsuit

I never got his name. I barely ever saw his face in the mornings either. He was always two paces ahead while I was falling two paces behind. Yet for some reason, today I was ahead. I smile to myself as I take to more steps towards my destination, feeling a small glint of victory. Readying to take one more step to the end of the cross way, I feel a gust of wind and see a person rush by. I watch, the man turning around. "I've been winning for the last two months, it'd be a shame to lose now." He smiled, gave me a wink, then turned back around. I huffed out a breath, shooting him a not-so-threatening glare as I continued my hike. 'Tomorrow, I'm wearing my running shoes'
