You breathed in the cold winter air as you walked home from work. After you left Axel you had decided to get a new job closer to your apartment. Normally you worked in the middle of the day, but a friend had called you and asked to cover her shift. 

You hadn't seen Axel since that day. He hasn't called, texted, tried to find you, and none of your shared friends mentioned him saying anything about you. Actually, they didn't mention him talking at all.

According to Isa and Ventus, Axel was okay the first week. After that, he started looking tired and lazy. The first time they ever asked about you he had freaked out, nearly harming Isa in his fit. It didn't exactly scare  you, but it did cause confusion. Axel hated you the last month you were together. Maybe he was angry Isa mentioned you because he was ashamed? Still, you wondered why Axel would try to hurt his lifelong friend over it.

The day you left him was unexpected for everyone. Yes, you were planning on it, but that day things were rushed. You had finally asked Isa what had gotten into Axels head, but apparently Axel was dating another girl as well. Axel never mentioned you to Isa, only to the friends that knew you both. You had never met Isa before that, he had just come to our apartment because he wasn't sure where the red-head was.

"She's no one important," Axel would say when questioned. You rolled your eyes. How had you not left him the moment he bad mouthed you?

You yelped as someone suddenly grabbed you and pulled you back. 

You brought your elbow back into the persons stomach (they were very tall) and they gasped, loosening their grasp for a moment. You then used your leg to kick their knee and managed to break away and run.

Though, curiosity got the best of you and your eyes glanced back to see who was there. Shock overtook you as you stared at the male standing there.

Isa.

His eyes looked back to you as he got over the hits you had landed on him.

"What the hell?" You gave him a disgusted look and took another step away.

"I'm... sorry. I have to this, { Name }!" He gave you a look of pity and pulled something out of his pocket. A syringe.

You reacted and ran away as fast as you could. You were quite fast, but you lacked the advantage of long legs. He caught you after a good minute of running and managed to stick the needle into your neck. You used the last of your energy to give him one last kick in the dick, and then passed out.

When you woke up, you heard a voice singing. The song didn't sound familiar, but the voice sure as hell did.

"You are my sunshine,

You tried to open your eyes, but they were quite heavy. Either the drug Isa used on you hadn't yet worn off, or you were just tired. 

The feeling of something rough and scratchy around your wrists surprised you. You struggled to open your eyes enough to examine what it was, but you had a good guess.

Rope.

You were tied up.

Slowly, you were able to control your body again. Well, control wasn't the right word. You could open your eyes and move your head, but your guess was accurate. Your arms and legs were tied to a chair, quite tightly.

"Oh, you're awake!" You jumped as a voice appeared behind you, and again when a kiss was suddenly planted on your cheek. 

You weren't surprised when the man walked in front of you, allowing you to see his face. The red head you had left, the one that hated you, the one that you once loved.

"Axel..." He smiled when he heard your voice. Oh, how he missed it. He knelt in front of you, now leveling to your height. Yes, he's that tall.

"You have no idea how much I've missed you." He grabbed your face in his hands, tightening his grip enough so you could barely move. Not that you could anyway. . .

"Why am I here?" You asked, though the words sounded stupid the moment they left your mouth. He probably wasn't done hurting you yet. 

Axel frowned, as if reading your mind. His thumb tilted your head up, giving Axel a clear view of your neck.

"It doesn't look like any of my marks are there anymore... Well, at least I know you haven't been dating anyone new. I'll just have to give you more later. I've missed you so much babe. . ." Axel suddenly leaned forward, placing his lips on yours. It wasn't a deep kiss, he didn't try to force you to kiss back or anything.

When he pulled away, you glared at him. If your legs weren't tied you walk kick him the same you did Isa.

"You didn't answer my question, Axel," you growled. His eyes flickered with a red light as you said his name again. That often happened when he was excited.

"I missed you."

"You mean you missed hurting me?" You looked away and tried to yank your wrists out of the rope, but hissed in pain as red marks began breaking your skin.

You heard Axel let out a small whimper and glanced back up, your eyes still formed into a glare. You were surprised to see tears tracing down his face.

He suddenly threw his arms around your neck, sobbing into your chest. Your breathing quickened.

"I-I'm so s-sorry. . . I don't k-know why I-I ever. . . I so sorry. . . I love you so m-much. I love you, I love you, I love you." You felt his tears drop on your shirt.

"W-what?" Axel looked into your eyes, his own turning red from the tears. A month ago you were desperate to hear him say that. You would do anything, even if it meant giving your life. Now, you just wanted him to disappear. 

"I love you, { Name }. I've always have, " 

"And I always will."

 Woooo I updated! Part 2 to the Axel one, even though the "cheater" title actually didn't have much to do with it lol.

Next I'm working on a Vampire!Cloud Strife x Reader as requested. Again, if I know who you're requesting, I'll do my best to make a chapter! If you add a bit of context on what you want it about too, that would be great, otherwise I'll just make up my own scenario.
