She had already known that Payal lied, but Arnav obviously knew more. She knew also about Payal being involved into human trafficking, because her picture was all over the news a few months ago.

The moment she looked again in Arnav's eyes, Khushi was sure that whatever Arnav has to say about Payal would be shattering.

>>I don't think it's good for you to tell you about them. I don't want to upset and hurt you, so please do not ask me any more questions about them.<<

Came out as a whisper.

Khushi understood Arnav and was glad that he thought about her well-being, but she also changed so much. She was stronger and braver now. She would never again allow someone to hurt her so easily.

She knew this was the merit of her new family and partly Arnav's fault. He has taken care of Khushi and protected her in all ways, since he found her here in Delhi. This didn't left Khushi unaffected. On the day she left this place, she didn't know how strong she was, but her new family showed her the value of life, every day and opened her eyes to see herself in a totally new light. Also, Khushi was part of a new family who accepted her totally with everything she has and she never felt unwanted.

All credit goes to Arnav.

He was the one who made this all possible and she was thankful.

>>What did he do together with Payal. I want and need to know, Arnav. Don't worry I won't break down so easily. Never again.<<

Again Arnav waited as he fought clearly with himself to speak or not.

>>Payal planed everything. First, she poisoned her parents against you, spreading lies and gossips. Then she saw you with me and decided to destroy us. NK helped her. He sent you messages which I read, while you were in the shower. That was one of the biggest mistakes I did. I shouldn't have checked your phone, but I saw you with Shiyam and you know what I thought.<<

Arnav looked up slowly, but then back to his hands being clearly not able to look longer into Khushi's eyes now that they started to talk about their past.

The last time when Arnav told Khushi about what he thought when he had seen her and Shiyam together, she slapped him, but not today. Today she wasn't angry anymore. She left it all behind and was able to look forward.

>>Payal was deeply involved into human trafficking and NK was something like her right hand man. He told me what they all planned for you and what they did to other children and girls and I lost it.<<

>>I am sorry.<<

Khushi wanted to show her understanding for Arnav's feelings. Arnav's eyes met hers again and his eyes formed into slits.

>>You don't need to be sorry. I promised you to answer all questions of yours honestly and I will. I won't lie about what I did, but I also won't lie about my feelings. If you think, I feel that my actions were wrong or feel guilty because I killed someone who had hurt my wife, I do not. I will never feel guilty for what I did to them, because they all deserved it. Maybe this is not my real nature if I am the old Arnav, but now it is. Would I kill innocent people? No. Would I hurt these who deserved it? Yes, when it comes to the person I love, I would.<<

>>He made plans together with Payal to keep us apart. He asked his friends to write all those awful messages just to make me jealous and create a fight. And the sad truth is, that it worked. But this was not everything, Khushi.<<

>>Payal, NK and some of the guys who were involved into the plan to take us apart, were deeply into the human trafficking. They sell innocent children for sexual slavery and even the police is involved. Their criminal doings went over years and no one stopped them. I wanted only to hurt him after I got him into my hands, but then he said all those awful things and I killed him.<<
