"I mean, "thanks" should be what we say to you." Ansel stands up, but he is short, so he has to look up to see Lin Yie's eyes.
Lin Yie grips his medication. He might look relaxed, but he is really nervous because he is not sure if he did something great or made a huge mistake. All he knows is he got Nightingale out of a cage...
"How is she?" Lin Yie asks in a low voice, "That Nightingale girl..."
Ansel is surprised to see that Lin Yie looks nervous.
It is hard to believe this man was the one who told everyone to shut up and sacrificed himself for Nightingale. Now he seems like a child waiting to be scolded by his parents.
(What an incredible person.)
"Um." Ansel says softly, "You saved her."
"That...That's great... really great...I'm glad..." Lin Yie feels so relieved.
He looks at Ansel. He wants to smile confidently and brag, but he can't. He doesn't really feel the joy. All he feels is a relief.
"Can you bring me to her, please?"

Back in the nursery.
Originally, he didn't think he could see Nightingale any time soon, but Ansel agreed immediately and brought him to where Nightingale is. There are a lot of people here, mostly who Lin Yie had never seen. Maybe they are Rhodes Island's operators. He wants to find the ones he knows, but he gives up after looking around.
(I guess the ones I know are all around Nightingale right now.)
Someone pats his shoulder.
Lin Yie turns around and sees a really well-built man who gives him a thumbs up.
"Good job." The man smiles,
"Lin Yie if I'm not wrong."
Lin Yie didn't what to say so he just nods.
The man smile, "I will remember that name. Rhodes Island welcomes you."
He pats Lin Yie shoulder again and walks off to who knows where.
"Um..." Lin Yie is still shocked by what just happen.
"Who was that?" he asks the rabbit boy(?) next to him.
"ACE." Ansel answers, "You are both pure humans, so you two should go along pretty well."
"Is that so?"
"Um, but that's in the future. Right now..." Ansel brings Lin Yie to where Nightingale was monitored, but he is stunned.
There is no one here.
"Nightingale is not here." they heard a female voice behind them.
They turn around and see Shining is there standing.
Shining looks at Lin Yie and says softly with a small smile, "Thanks to you, Nightingale is no longer imprisoned here."

Lin Yie sees Nightingale in the next room, but the room looks much simpler than the one she was in.
There is no white furniture or monitors. It is just a simple room. The little devil is sitting on a chair nibbling a piece of bread, and her white legs are covered with bread crumbs.
Shining told him that Nightingale is no longer in danger but her mind is not stable and her memory still hasn't returned. When they walked closer to her, she would still be nervous and afraid, and she would resist.
However, her mind didn't seem to collapse any time soon, so they stopped her sleeping pills and brought her here to wait for Lin Yie.
Lin Yie looks around before entering the room.
Nightingale looks up and their eyes meet.
When Lin Yie is thinking about what to say he was about to open his mouth,
But Nightingale speaks first, cutting her off.
"Liz."
He pauses and asks"Um? What?"
"Liz." She says again, with a delicate and gentle voice,
