SYNOPSIS!

SAGE DANIELS was a girl that fell into the crowd of wrong people, that was in the wrong place, at the wrong time. She had witnessed so much in her life, from the death of her family to the witnessing of her town being completely blown off the map to the point of no return.

She was merely a teenager, the young age of fifteen when her life changed for the better (or, for worse, she wasn't really sure). Investigating the explosion, Beatrix Snow stumbled upon Sage who was trying to find a way to get herself food and clean water whilst staying in the rubble that was the city of Winterose.  

The fiery redheaded woman took the girl under her wing and raised her, training her to protect herself. Sage grew up believing what they were doing was right, and that what S.H.I.E.L.D. was trying to do was wrong and they needed to be stopped.

Beatrix Snow continued to find survivors, three of which stayed in the same unit as Sage, and the others going off to do something Sage didn't even dare want to think of. Now, Sage was twenty-six and she was allowed to have her first mission that involved absolutely no supervision. Trust was put in her, and all that she had to do was give a mission report once said mission was completed.

However, Sage didn't know that her mission would bring emotions she hadn't felt since her first crush which was when she was twelve. Maria Hill was her target, the woman known to be Director Nick Fury's right hand woman.  And as she continued to make interactions with the brunette, she found herself answering all of the personal questions Maria asked her. She didn't know why this was, but she wanted Maria to know her, to understand why she was doing what she was doing.

And Maria listened to her answers, and she wanted to prove to the girl that they were the good guys and that HYDRA was the one that corrupted the world. Maria Hill wanted to walk into the graveyard that was placed in Sage's head and find her old self, dig her up, and bring her back out into the real world. And let's hope that she manages that, because either way one of them was bound to get killed, but they'd rather get killed on the same side than on the opposite ends of each other's guns.

AUTHORS NOTE!

This is the first official story (minus Frostbite) that is apart of my Lost and Found series! The Lost and Found is a series of Marvel fics that  connect into one another and are in the same universe!

There isn't a lot of Maria Hill fics out there, and I'm not really sure why. She's such an underrated badass and I'm glad my complicated brain was able to come up with a plot for her!
