『16』Periwinkle Blue Eyes

Start from the beginning

The sky had turned dark pruple, street lights now turned on to iluminate the road with it's beautiful golden beam. An old man grumpily steps off the car with a small huff, thanking the driver after as he pays him from the other side of the car window. The car then steadily drove off, leaving the old man to face his very old house just admiring every small detail of it, thinking to himself how lucky he is to be having such a decent life, if he hadn't made his careful choices then he'd be by the streets right now, or in a shelter. The old man walked up to his doorstep and unlocked his front door, still hoping that his daughter would greet him once again like how she would always do every night her Father comes home.

And she did, once she heard the front door get unlocked and the soft creaking sound coming after, she quickly ran downstairs from her room and hugs her Father tightly with her signature smile.

"You're home early, Dad. Something happened?" The girl asked her Father once she let's go of him, the girl's excitement of her dad coming home soon dwindled into conecrn. The Father's face looked slightly down, his daughter couldn't tell if he was frowning or not since his mustache and beared is covering most of his lips. But the girl knew that something bad has happened, she was too afraid and couldn't help but jump to conclusions.

"Sweetheart, yes, something did happen today that made Simon Cowell send me home early" The old man sighs, regretting to even say that to his daughter the second after the words left his mouth. He looked up at his daughters face and she looked petrified, but his daughter knew that her Father hates it when it comes to bringing her bad news, so she could only just pretend to stay calm about it so her Father wouldn't feel so guilty.

"Alright then, well here why don't I make you some tea while you sit and tell me, okay?" The girl says calmly with her quiet voice, pulling her Dad by his arm and sitting him down on a chair by the dinner table. The girl left towards a nearby kitchen counter and began to make some sweet tea. The old man, Steve, rested his arm on the table. He still has no idea how to tell this to his daughter, he knew she would cry, he knew she wouldn't be able to talk to him again, he knew this could be the breaking point of his many times that he had failed her.

"There was a staff meeting earlier this afternoon, and we talked about the boys and how they act towards eachother, fans have realized how close they are, too close that people started suspecting them to be dating" Steve began, his daughter didn't say a word but only listening in while nodding her head, but she was rather confused why they would make a meeting about an odd subject like that.

"We came up with a solution, I personally didn't agree with it. But I tried telling Paul, our tour manager, to think of a better way but he said that he couldn't" Steve sighed out, his daughter now finished making his tea and simply placing the cup right on the table in front of her Father. Steve muttered out a small 'Thank you' to her, the girl then sat down on the chair beside her parent and looked at him in the eyes, curiosity filling her whole.

"Tell me, Dad. What solution?"

"I want a love like you made me feel, when we were 18..." You tenderly sang into the mic like a mumble, gripping the mic stand gently within your soft palms. The background music slowly fading away into nothing, everyone in the studio room all smiled and clapped their hands at their good work on the song, the recording room is a little small so there weren't much people in it, there was only you and the other five boys and four extra employees that take control on the electric music and a guitarist. A staff member gave each of you and the boys a waterbottle to treat your sore throats, some of the staffs came to you and complimented you on the song, you gave a sweet smile and thank them.

A man that looked like he was in his mid twenties pulled you aside and told you to sit down on a chair right in front of the sound mixer that had thousands of small buttons and levers that you have absolutely no idea what each of them do, but honestly if you would even dare touch any of them you'd instantly ruin everything. The staff in front of you kept on blabbering about the song and congratulating you, it made you quite flattered.
