『16』Periwinkle Blue Eyes

"(Y/N)? Are you okay?" Louis asked again but his voice now more subtle and quiet, his expression morphed quickly from smiling and chuckling into now confusion and concern. The silence and slow answers you gave him made Louis start to wonder if whatever this problem is really got on your nerves, he was already preparing himself to get in another argument with a staff if one of them had hurt your feelings, but not this time.

"It's really nothing, I'm sorry. Let's just get this over with and call it a day" You quietly apologized and gently pushed Louis on his chest with your light palm and walked passed him, leaving the unfortunate Doncaster boy to stare off on your figure slowly leaving his sight, his eyebrows furrowed while his emotions felt uncomfortable, not uncomfortable as in an awkward way, but as in that something just doesn't sit right with it.

"Fan-fucking-tastic, look what you've gotten yourself into. Now he won't even want to open up to you anymore" The short boy mutters to himself, scratching the back of his neck out of his own anxiety. He really had thought that maybe, just maybe, that whole happy moment back at Princess Park would maybe help him a bit to have some more bonding time with (Y/N), but no matter how much Louis tried he still thinks that you somehow dislike him, but Louis keeps on refusing to think he can't do anything about it.

Once you had left Louis alone, you carefully walked pass the other staffs and employees hoping that you don't bump into one of them accidentally. You were about to head back towards Niall and try to comfort him or give him a gentle pat on his back at the very least, but suddenly you were pulled aside by what you think is a familiar staff member of Modest. The sudden tug startled you a bit and when you saw who was holding onto you, it was that staff member that accompanied you in the van when you were heading home just a few hours ago, he has an uneasy look on his face.

"Hey kiddo, I'm Steve. It's a pleasure to be talking to you" The staff introduced to you, you smile and shake his hand firmly. He was a pretty old man, not too old though, he looked like he was in his mid fifties and he has a slumped back, it made him look as though he was shorter than you.

"Nice, hi Steve, what's up?" You asked the old man, you already figured that you're probably going to get scolded by management which made you imaginatively roll your eyes but you still force a smile like any other times whenever you're irritated, which is honestly a big mood.

"Paul told me to inform you that he has something important that he needs to discuss with you later on, just you, Paul and Simon. They wanted to have a private talk about a few things and I heard earlier that you and your friends are going clubbing tonight? Just please don't be too tipsy and drunk, they need you sober for this" Steve explained, your heart immediately dropped as a wave of anxiousness took over your entire body.

"Only me? What about the others?" You say while pointing to the direction of Niall and Harry who seems to be standing next to eachother. You didn't know where the other three men wondered off to, it was a big room filled with a hundred people they could be anywhere talking to someone.

"Just you, the meeting the staffs had an hour ago was mostly about you too. That's why Paul and Simon plan on meeting up with you face to face tonight" Steve made clear of, just hearing these words coming out of his mouth worsened your bravery. After a few years of being in this band you've never once had to have this kind of talk with Paul and Simon, nor do the other boys.

Just this overwhelming feeling only by hearing both of their names, Paul and Simon? Those two do not go well together, if it was only Paul then you wouldn't be so nervous considering how he's regularly very soft spoken to you, Simon on the other hand can get quite scary and it would even make you tear up out of frustration. If you need to face both of them then there's definitely something serious going on, but you had no idea what it could be.
