Everyone enjoys that thrill when they are either in love or the toxic chemical that makes you feel like you are floating in the sky. Both are equally toxic, and addictive it gives us pleasure that makes us forget the shitty lives we put ourselves in. The same pleasure that Aaron consumed the night before, she use to wonder why such a harmful substance is illegal, at least use to before she relied on it everyday for the same euphoria feeling. The thing is that she doesn't really feel it anymore, it feels....empty.
Aaron was a high school senior at Rocklake Charter High School, or the dropout school that everyone says. The reason is a lot of kids that attend her either dropout or simply because they got kicked out of the other schools. Thus why we meet Aaron, she isn't the brightest student, she goes to class but really can't find the motivation to do any of the work. She wasn't sure why she felt that way but everyday seems to be the same boring routine, get up, go to school, go to work, and then bed. She looked up at the clock 11:30, as she read it the bell rung for lunch to begin.
She sat up stuffing her math homework in her bag not caring if she crumbles the paper, walking down the hallway she looks and see's her fellow "classmates" retreating to the lunch hall, while others stayed by there lockers either making out or talking about which place to get lunch at. A lot of people at her school have big groups of friends, not a lot of girls like her or avoid her cause of the way she dresses. Aaron isn't really the type of girl who dresses up in girly outfits, it's not like she doesn't like it, it's like her school she just doesn't find motivation in the morning, she rather sleep that extra hour than getting ready for what??
Just as she walks past the cafeteria to the main entrance she hears her name being called by a certain black haired female. "AARON MY BIG PAPA!!!" She chuckled to herself hearing her best friends nickname for her, she turns around seeing her friend running towards her and practically squeezing the breathe out of her as the black haired female hugged her. "Oh Aaron I missed you, I thought I'd die of boredom in gym class. So I thought we should go treat ourselves to burritos and drinks on me!" She says as she hooks her arms with her friend. Aaron smiles at her crazy energetic friend. "Chazz I saw you this morning." She replies to her. "I also thought you were eating lunch with Tom?" Questioning the girl.
You see Chazz is Aaron's one and only friend since the beginning of high school, most girls always disliked her for some reason, everyone except Chazz. They first met in biology, they didn't really started talking till they were partnered up with each other, Chazz helping Aaron with the assignment then helping with homework and next thing they knew they were sleeping over at each others houses. They really were best friends, being there for each other when one of them was feeling down, protecting each other, or even helping each other with the smallest thing like hyping them up. You can only imagine how Aaron felt when Chazz got herself a boyfriend, Tom. It wasn't that she hated him, he was a nice guy and was nice to her and seemed to treat Chazz like a princess, it's just that she hasn't seen her cheerful friend as much anymore, guess she missed her. "Yeah, but he cancelled last minute to help his friend with his party tonight, that guy is too nice for his own good I swear, men! Oh! That reminds me, hey do you wanna go with me and Tom tonight to a party?" Chazz asks Aaron as they both hop into Aaron's blue run down truck. As she was getting in and starting the car she thinks to herself for a minute about it. She hasn't been to a party in awhile, who knows maybe she'll meet someone there, she certainly needs to let loose so...
"Yeah sure what time?"
