Chapter 9

Madi's P.O.V

School was almost out.

Only two more weeks.

It was Friday ....

Tomorrow was my competition.

All week I've been going to the studio and 5sos was there. I would walk into the studio and they were all there. Not singing just sitting there on their phones.

It felt like they were waiting for me.

I doubt it.

I bet they were just bored.

But i tried to teach them the dance to good girls are bad girls but all they did was trip and fall and laugh.

It was pretty funny.

I was nervous. My first competition tomorrow.

I skipped school today and went to the studio. I don't care if moms finds out. I mean matt gets to skip 2 days a week.

It was around 12 wen Thew came into the studio and found me sitting along the mirror

"Madi?" He asked

I looked over at him

"What are you doing here and not at school" he asked

"I'm nervous for tomorrow. I don't think I wanna do it anymore" I said

He came over and sat next to me.

"Madi don't say that your gonna do it. And you are gonna do fine. Don't worry. I know you are gonna win. It's totally normal to feel like this. It's your first competition, but I know you can do it " he said

"Really?" I asked unsure

"I'm positive " he smiled

"Thanks thew" I said

"No problem" he said and stood up. "Now if your nervous let's practice a little and then you need to relax and get some rest."

I stood up too and practiced.

After 3 hours of practice I decided to stop for the day.

It's 3 pm. This the time I usually get to the studio. But I finished up for today

I walked out of the dance studio into the recording/singing part of the studio . By the way this studio is huge.

I watched Matty sing a bit.

Then I remembered I left my water bottle in then dance studio.

I went to get my water bottle and there sat Luke, Ashton, calum, and Michael.

"Guys I'm done " I said

"What but you just got here" Michael said

"I was here earlier. Plus thew or matt said I need to relax." I told them

"Ok well let's all go hangout" Luke said

"Ok where" I said "we can to my house. I mean fuck my mom she won't let me go to the concert so why not just have 5sos at my house" we laughed

"Or you could come to our hotel room. It's quite huge" Calum said

"Ok" I said "but first I need to go home and get stuff... Like my phone charger cause it's about to die" I said

"Umm how about I meet you guys at your hotel. Here's my number text me what hotel and the room number" I said and left

I went home and got my phone charger and left.
