Chapter 17 - Slice of Truth

Start from the beginning

Ava could not believe her eyes. The boy in black seemed so much like Ashley apart from their hair and eye color and of course the dressing but that did not account anyway. The way he looked at the girl who looked like Amlia and the goofy smile with which girl looked back with passion in her eyes, it could be felt from picture that the two were die hard in love. But their faces and their posture were so unnerving considering the similar face couple sit right beside Ava but with fire of fury for each other in their eyes.

"I thought you're just obsessed in revenge but it seemed you kinda like me. What a psycho to fall for me, yay me." Amelia said with absolute annoyance and anger.

Ava looked on as Ashley sighed at annoyed Amelia and she could not help but feel something different in their eyes all of sudden. Despite all the changes, they seemed to be replaced by the loving couple in picture.

She shook her head. It was not possible. The two hated each other. But couldn't hate change into love? History repeat itself? Ava bit her lower lip at the thoughts that if said aloud would cause ruckus and the two would be damn angry at her. A ghost of smile came on her face. The possibility did not seem bad.

"Here, listen to this and decide for yourself why those strange and ancient people might be attacking Amelia." Ashley said pulling back hologram and starting an audio.

"Don't joke now, Piya, it's not necessary. By the way, do you know, everyone thought you all are dead but look here you both are. Alive and together. Just like before." The odd voice floated in hall silencing every other voice. It was weirdly spoken. But as Ava looked at Amelia she saw the hint of recognition as her eyes widened and she looked at Ashley who was already looking at her.

"Can you please repeat it in English?" Ashley voice came normally and Ava realised Ashley must be with Amelia at that moment that's why woman called someone Piya.

"Abhay, what are you saying?" The woman voice came again.

"I don't seem to understand you."

"This is ridiculous. Are you trying to say I don't know English? Or am I mad?"

"No, I apologize if I hurt you. I just want to know what you said in that Language of yours."

"Don't act like you know nothing, Abhay. Just because I have aged doesn't mean am older to you or mad."

Ava brow raised in surprise and she looked at Ashley who was all into staring at Amelia.

"Don't forget am still your classfellow T." This time woman voice was normal.

Ava mouth opened in shock and she looked at Archie who seemed as shock as her. She did not bother to look at Ethan this time.

"Classfellow?" Ashley voice came.

"If you want me to leave just spit it out, Abhay. It is not flattering to insult me like that."

"How? That..." Amelia was loss of words.

"We met this old woman other day and she was blabbering something that seemed nonsense but was our key to help. She was switching from one language to other so I couldn't understand her clearly and Amelia refused me her translator." Ashley paused and gave a look to Amelia.

"So instead I recorded her voice to listen later with translator and find what she was saying since I had this feeling she was calling us with names that those kidnappers had." Ashley explained. "This was the translator version of what that woman T said."

Ava understood now why the voice was odd at places. But that was not her concern at the moment.

"She was chosen as the prom Queen same year by the way. So yeah she was class fellow of Abhay and Piya." Ashley added.
