"DREEEEEEEEEEEEEAMM! DREAM NO, PLEASE- NOOOOOOOOO!"
"YESSSSSS! What a noob. Good luck getting your stuff back!"
"That's it. Keep the stupid stuff, I'm gonna edit."
"Wait what? No, no, I was winning three to one!" Dream lowered his voice and stopped chasing George. "Please? I'm bored, I can't be bothered to edit..."
"Fine. But you can explain why there's no new video out tomorrow."
"They'll live. Just stream, it's the same thing."
"I guess..." George hesitated. "I do need to edit though, I've not uploaded in nearly a week."
"Relax, I'll help you with it tomorrow. So, you down to stream for a bit?"
"Sure, give me my stuff..." Loading up his StreamLabs, he adjusted his facecam to face his chair more. "Okay, I'm starting the live."
Waiting a minute or so for his followers to flood in, he smirked. "Okay, I'm live. No more sucking up to me, Dreamy."
"I- WHAT? I wasn't sucking up, don't call me that!"
"Whatever you say..."
Clearing his throat, Dream addressed his own stream. "Hey guys, we were just doing some 1v1s, and we thought we'd stream for a little bit. Oh, thank you for the five dollars, Mike Hunt. Who was winning...? Me, of course. This is George we're talking about..."
They started fighting again, chatting to their viewers as they threw insults at each other. Within the hour, Dream had managed to get 20 more victories than George - something he didn't hesitate to rub in his face.
"You really suck at this, George."
George, who was idly reading subscription messages, replied, "I'm done fighting, can we do something else for once?"
"Oh yeah, like what? All we ever do is fight, duh."
"I don't know, like... Make a survival together?"
Dream scoffed. "We play survival all the time, George. We're speedrunners."
"No, I know, but just to build a house together - explore the world?"
"Awe, listen to Georgie and his Minecraft fantasies," he teased. "Sure, we can make a new world."
The user joining sound went off, and they both jumped. "You guys are streaming without me?! What the hell!"
"Hey Pa- Sapnap. Well, get on and come play with us, idiot."
"Dream, I swear if you call me that again, I will murder you-"
"And so the peace is broken," George muttered, a little too loud.
"Same applies to you George, don't test me," Sapnap threatened. "Now how do I get onto your cute little server?"
"It's not - oh, whatever. I'll send you the IP, hang on." He knew he was blushing, but didn't dare look at his chat. "There. No fighting, or I'll ban you. This was meant to just be a peaceful survival world."
"Oh, before I forget - come here, and I'll give you your stuff, Georgie."
"Ooh, you want me to c- come... to you?" Flushing red at his joke, George giggled quietly.
"Ew, gross, jeez... just co- ugh. Get over here, I've got your armour."
"Yeah, I know, I'm... Coming..."
"Stop laughing, George."
"Right. Sorry."
In the awkward silence that followed as George made the walk of shame back home, Sapnap booted up his computer to join the others streaming, smiling to himself. "You guys are so cute together. I ship it."
...
He frowned, checking he wasn't muted.
...
"Are neither or you going to disagree? What the hell?!"
Silently messaging George, Dream smirked. "No? I love George, why not?"
Dream (21:54) - Go with it, idiot.
Silence.
Dream (21:54) - Say it back, it's just a joke
"George? Don't you... Love me back?"
"What?! No?"
"George," Dream mumbled, "say you love me back!"
"I'm not saying that, Dream," he sighed, dismissing him.
"So you don't love me?"
"I, uh..."
"I'll leave you girls to it. I'll play with Bad, jeez." Neither of them said a word as Sapnap left, not sure what to talk about.
"So uh... I sent you the IP, you gonna join or not?" The guilt was setting in, and George squirmed as Dream mumbled something incoherent. "What? You cut out."
"I said nevermind, I'm tired."
"Oh, okay... Is that the end of the stream then?" He cringed, flipping his facecam off to hide his facial expression.
"Yeah, sorry guys, I'm gonna head off. Thank you for the donations, I'll stream again tomorrow to make up for it." Ending it without another word, Dream muttered, "Cut your stream."
Worried, George pressed end stream and shut the program down. "It's off. Are you... Are you okay? What happened?"
"Why didn't you say it back?"
"What, I love you?"
Getting annoyed now, Dream snapped, "Oh, so you can say it!"
"What does it matter? Why would I say that, it's so weird!"
"It was a joke! I was messing with stream, Jesus!"
"Okay, okay, calm down. I'm sorry, you're obviously butthurt..."
"I don't care," Dream pouted. "It was just for the fans. I don't see why it's such a big deal to you, and you made me look stupid."
Sighing, George closed his eyes. "Whatever. If you really want me to say it back so bad, then I'll tell stream tomorrow. Happy?"
"Just forget it..."
"Dream. I love you, is that what you want to hear?" Realising how it sounded, he quickly backtracked. "A-as a friend, I mean. No homo, or anything."
"What? No, I couldn't care less. It was just for the stream. Forget it, seriously."
"But-"
Dream left the channel before he could argue more. "Oh, for god's sake..."
Lost in thought, George watched as his cat prowled across the room. He didn't know what the hell Dream had said that for, but he felt almost... Happy?
No, more than that. Maybe if happy got drunk and said things to people that it would regret in the morning - some of you will know the feeling, I'm sure...
"This is crazy." Dismissing Dream's odd confession, George started scrolling through Twitter. As expected, the videos of Dream saying I love you were all over his timeline.
And - and NUMBER THREE on trending?!
"Oh god, he's going to kill me." After staring blankly at the wall of notifications pouring in, he turned to the still prowling kitty and winked. "You know, maybe I should flirt with him more often. Think of the views..."
Giving him major sideye, the cat, known as Luca, turned his back on him. "Your conversation skills are awful, you know," George muttered.
And although he was joking, it wouldn't be too bad an idea, all things considered...
