Chapter One

I woke up on my birthday to the smell of pancakes and eggs. I was so excited! Today was the day me and my best friend Katie would go to Canada to find my biological mom. It wasn't a long drive to Canada so I didn't need a parent.

I packed up and picked Katie up. She hopped in the car and we drove to Canada. She kept asking me questions that I didn't want to answer because I was so nervous.

We were in Canada and we needed to stop at the supermarket because we were really hungry. As I was i driving I almost ran into this really tall kid with dark hair.. He was.. WOW.. "Zayum that guy was so checking you out Sammy" katie said.. And I laughed but I had a feeling he was

We walked into the market and i bumped into him again. "Wow two times to day, I'm a lucky boy." He said and I started to blush. "I'm Sammy, I'm here to find my biological mother." I said. "Hi I'm Sebastian, and who is your friend here?" "Oh that's Katie she's helping me today." I said

Katie went to the hotel and told me and Sebastian to go have fun and be teenagers. We took advantage of that alone time and started to get to know each other better. "Wow, It's been 3 hours. We've been walking for 3 hours." I said.. "You know Sammy, I've never met anyone like you before ... You seem special" Sebastian said. "Do you mind if I join you on this journey?" He asked and i said yes and we headed back to the hotel.

We walked into the hotel room to the sound of silence and no one there. Katie had left a note it read.

"I'm sorry but sometimes life is tough and you gotta fight through, I'm just fighting the 400 lbs champion known as "life" .. Good luck with your fight."

I started to cry considering my best friend left me in Canada with a boy I barely knew. Sebastian wipes the tears off my face and told me "To smile and things will instantly get better
