When I wake up, Cameron is still sleeping and it's 9:00a.m., I just decide to lay there until he wakes up, I don't want to disturb him, and I am still a little tired.
When Cameron wakes up it is 10:47a.m.
"Jalyn?" He asks.
"I'm awake." I chuckle.
"What happened?" He asks.
"I guess Kaye didn't come home?" I tell him, but I am proven wrong when Kaye walks through the house in her Coke-a-Cola™ Pajamas.
"Where were you?" I question Kaye.
"Carter's house, why? Was you worried?" She asks.
"No, just wondering." I say softly.
"Oh." She said, and walked through the house.
She acts like she wasn't surprised that Cameron was still here?
"Oh...uhm...sorry?!" I say to Cameron.
"No, you're fine." He smiled.
I love his smile. It brightens my day. I know I haven't even known him for an entire day, but I think I'm in love.
"Okay." I gave him a goofy grin.
"What time is it?" He asks. "My parents won't be happy that I didn't come home last night."
"10:55a.m." I say.
"Oh, that's earlier than I thought. I have a little time before they wake of you want to study some more." He says.
"That'd be great!" I say.
"Hey, uh. I'm going to Starbucks. You guys want anything?" Kaye says.
"Uh...n-" Cameron is cut off by me.
"Yes! I want a Vanilla Frappe, and Cameron what do you want?" I ask.
"Nothing, I'm fine. Thank you though." He says.
"So what do I get?" Kaye asked.
"Whatever you want and two Vanilla Frappes."
"You can't drink two!" She laughs.
"One for me, and one for Cam. Now, skit skat! Go on, I need my morning coffee!" I laugh.
"But he-" she starts.
"He wants one!" I say loudly.
"Okay gosh!" She laughs, and grabs her keys, and then walks out.
"I said I didn't-" Cam starts.
"I know you want one!" I laugh.
"Fine!" He laughs back.
"Okay, so...uhm...where was the Declaration written?" Cam asks.
"In my kitchen!" I smile.
"Jalyn. I'm pretty sure The Declaration of Independence wasn't written in your kitchen!" He says like I'm a baby.
"I know that silly!" I smile. "I mean, I want food!" I say.
"Can't that wait until Kaye gets back?" He questions.
"Nope, mama bear's gotta eat!" I yell.
He laughs. His laugh is adorable.
"Fine, do you have cereal?" He asks.
"Uhm...yeah! What kind?" I question the brown haired, gorgeous, shirtless boy on my couch.
"Fruity Pebbles®?" He asks.
"Yeah!" I say. "Those are my favorite!" I laugh.
"Mine too!" He says.
I laugh.
"Jalyn, can I say something? Not to be weird, but like, in a friendly way?"
"Yeah." I say nervously.
"Your laugh is adorable!" He smiles.
"Awh! Cameron! That is so sweet! But yours is cuter!" I laugh.
He blushes and smiles at the ground.
"Thank you Jalyn, that means a lot coming from you!" He says.
"Not to be rude, but why me?" I ask him.
"Uhm..."
"Why? Just tell me?!" I say.
"Because, your pretty, and I guess, I...uh...kinda like you." He blushes.
His cheeks are flushed.
"What?!" I say.
"I'm sorry! I shouldn't have said that, now you're going to have to find a new tutor and everything. I just blew it!, didn't I?" He frowns.
"No!, No! I didn't mean it that way! I promise!" I say.
"You didn't?"
"No! I said 'What?!' because I kinda like you too." I say embarrassed.
"Me? You like me?" He questions.
"Yeah. I guess. I mean, the only reason I asked you to stay last night was because I like you." I smile.
"Oh!"
"Yeah, I'm not actually scared when she's gone. I just wanted to spend more time with you." I smiled.
