Falling For The Nerd.

•Chapter 1• •The Tutor•

My name is Jalyn Da'Shae Edwards. I am in high school. I'm a Senior in high school. I live with my best friend Kalyn because my parents died in a car crash on their anniversary when I was 12, so her parents took custody of me. They let us move out when I was 16. She's a year older so they trusted us. Now we live in an apartment and they pay our bills. They thought we needed our own privacy, so that's good I guess. We still buy our food and furniture etc. She calls me Jaylyn since our names are so similar and I call her Kaye. Neither of us are to smart, so I got a tutor, she is just working on her own. My tutor said her name was Cameron. So...lets see here my life goes from here.

"Wake up!" My roommate whined.
"Jalyn!" She continued.

"What!" I yelled.

"He's here" she said.

"Who's here!" I say.

"Your tutor, he said he had to come 30 minute early."

"He?" I say confused.

"Yeah, Cameron, your tutor!"

"I thought my tutor was a girl?!" I say.

"Erm...no...I...uhh...I'm a guy." The male voice said.

My eyes haven't even opened and he already sounds hot. This is gonna be good! So, I open my eyes and see this nerdy guy with brown hair and glasses. Oh great. Amazing voice, bad looks.

Noticing that I haven't said anything yet. I look at they nerdy boy with the confused and disgusted look on his face.

"Uhm. Okay. So, let's study I guess." I say tiredly.

"Okay." He said quietly.

"Well! I'm leaving this party!" Kaye yelled.

"Okay, bye! Be backed soon!" I yell as she walks out the door.

•Studying•

"So...who wa the main writer of The Declaration of Independence?" He said.

"George Washington?" I question.

"No, Thomas Jefferson." He smiled.

"Ugh! I need a break! I'm hungry" I groan.

"Fine!" He smiled.

I have to admit, his smile was adorable.

"You hungry?" I question the smiling boy on my couch.

"No, I'm fine, thank you though." He said.

"Oh, come on! You know your hungry!" I laughed. "Your a teenager, how are you not?" I smiled.

"Fine, I'll take whatever." He said.

"Okay, how about pizza rolls?" I say.

"Sure."

I put the pizza rolls in the oven and go back to the couch to wait.

"So..."

"So what?" He asks.

"I don't know." I laugh.

He laughs.

"What do you want to do?" I ask.

"I don't know." He says.

"20 questions?" I say.

"Sure." He said taking off his glasses.

Woah! He looks good without those glasses! Oh my god, he is hot! He's just hiding it!

"I go first!" I say.

"Okay, go ahead." He smiles.

"Why don't you wear contacts?" I say before I can stop myself.

"I don't like them, they hurt my eyes. I like y glasses better." He says.

"Oh. Okay! Your turn!"

"Ehrm...why do you live with your friend."

"My parents died in a car crash when I was 12 so her parents took custody of me and then we moved into an apartment last year."

"Oh." He said looking down. "I'm so sorry, I didn't know!" He says.

"Oh it's fine." I laugh.

"Oh."

*BEEP*

"There's the oven!" I say.

"Yeah." He said.

I went and got the pizza rolls and went back to the couch and then he started to eat some.

"Wanna watch Netflix while we eat?" I ask.

"Sure." He says.

"Uhm...oooh!, The Vow!, I love this movie!" I say.

"Wow. Okay." He said under his breath.

We spent the entire day watching Netflix before I checked the time and it was 9:58p.m. and Kaye wasn't home. It was usual so I wasn't worried. I was suprised that he wasn't so shy and he actually stayed for a while.

"Uhm...I-I need to...Uhm...get home." He stutters.

"Awwh man! Please just stay until Kaye gets back. I'll be all lonely, I hate being lonely." I say.

"How long will she be?" He asks.

"I have no idea, but I hate staying here alone, it scares me!" I say. "Please?!" I whine.

"Alright, fine." He says in defeat.

"Oh thank goodness! Thank you so much!" I say.

"No problem." He says.

•Mid-Night•

Before I know it I wake up, and my head is on Cameron's chest on my couch, and he is lying there with his glasses crooked on his face half smiling in his sleep. I fix his glasses and lay back down to sleep, it is 3:45a.m. and I am not waking up now!
