And she brushes my hair She puts me on the floor and holds my hand as she gently brings me downstairs "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY CUTE LITTLE NIECE " Aunt Jenna says "Tank yu," I say to her before walking to her and grabbing her trouser leg "Ut ut ut," I say not being able to pronounce my 'p' she picks me up and spins me before setting me back down I see Jer walking downstairs and I speed walk to him "Je Je," I say smiling at him and hugging his leg He picks me up and tickles me "Happy birthday little monster," he says smiling at me "Tank yu Je," I say to him He puts me on the floor and I walk towards Elena "Day an Stef," I say to her She grabs my hand and we walk to the boarding house "We're here," she says in a sing-song voice I walk to the door and hit it because I can't knock so I hit it 3 times before the door flies open "BABY GILBERT HAPPY BIRTHDAY," Damon says picking me up and squeezing me Before I could thank him Stefan grabs me "HAPPY BIRTHDAY LITTLE ELENA," he says squeezing me as well He puts me down "So what did you get munchkin ?" Damon asks me "She hasn't opened her presents yet she wanted to see you two, " Elena tells him Then Damon leaves the room and then comes back with a wrapped present and a big teddy bear "Here you go munchkin the wrapped one is from Stefan and the other from me," he says handing me the presents "Tank yu Day Tank yu Stef," I say I opened the box and see a pretty bracelet that looks like Elena's necklace "I hope you like it little Elena," he says I don't say anything and I run and hug his leg "Tanks stef," I say and he ruffles my hair I walk to Elena and hand her it "On," I say as I hold my arm out She clips it on "Isn't that beautiful Libby?" she says I start bouncing around before turning to the bear and hugging it as tight as I can "Do you think she likes it ?" Elena asks Damon sarcastically "Duh!" He says I then begin bouncing around again but I fall over my own feet "Ow," I say tears forming in my eyes I'm scooped up by I think Damon but I can't see because the tears in my eyes "It's okay munchkin I got you now," Damon says as he hugs me to his chest "You okay little Elena?" Stefan says I nod my head as Elena comes to pick me up "Ley ley," I say looking at her "Yes, Libby?" She says "Stay," I say hoping we could stay longer "We can't stay longer baby you still have some more presents to open I promise we will come back soon," she says I pout "No," I say "Libby come on," she says I kick her side so she puts me down then I speed walk away "LIBBY GET BACK HERE NOW YOU LITTLE B..." Elena says before Damon puts his hand over her mouth "None of that language thank you," he says I am sat in between 2 bookshelves hoping no one comes to find me But someone did "Little Elena why are you sat here all by yourself? " Stefan asks "Me stay, " I say to him as I pout and give him puppy dog eyes "I'll talk to your sister I can't promise you can stay but I will try Little Elena," he says sitting in front of me "Oay," I say to him He gets up and walks back into the room I think Damon left because I can't hear him Just then I see a crow sat in the room next to where I am So I go chase after it It flies outside and circles a tree and then fog appears out of nowhere and the crow is gone "Awwwww birdie," I say and I sit in the fog and fold my arms "Baby Gilbert there you are," Damon says as he tries to scoop me up "No," I say shuffling away from him "What's wrong baby Gilbert?" He asks looking sad "Birdie go," I say as I pout "I'm sorry little one the birdie went to bed now and we need to go back inside okay," Damon says
Stefan's POV
I go back to where I last saw Libby and she wasn't there "Libby? " I shout "Libby darling come back " I shout I run around the house to see if I can see her I look out the window to see her chasing Damon's crow before it vanishes in the fog I listen in to hear what there saying "Baby Gilbert there you are" I hear my brother say I see him go to pick her up "No," she says and begins shuffling away "What's wrong baby Gilbert?" He asks looking sad "Birdie go" I hear her say Awww she's sad about the crow leaving "I'm sorry little one the birdie went to bed now and we need to go back inside okay," Damon says I see him finally manage to pick her up and I run to the door "Little Elena what's wrong why are you sad?" I ask although I already know why "Birdie go," she says I see her eyes begin to tear up I grab her from Damon and hug her tight "Guess what little Elena" I whisper to her "Wat ?" She says "Elena left you here with us, I convinced her to let you stay," I tell her Her eyes light up and she smiles "Rewy?" She asks "Yep she just left," I say I put her down on the floor again
