Got my hairballshipping head on again and concept: christmas fic where meowth tries to get boots a tm for a move he really wanted to learn dor a new strategy but tms cost a ridiculous, exploitative amount like in the games so he steals it and the twerps do what the twerps do but cant get him to give up the tm before blasting him off for the life of them and eventually meowth just yells at them why he wants it and twerps agree that stealing is wring but they so cost WAY too much so they ask meowth how much money he has and pool their cash to make up the rest of the amount (and also the cost of postage for a joke)
