Also sidenote on that fic and a popular rocketshipping comic i indulged because the cover implied what im about to say: dont pretend your story has an arc for meowth if it doesnt. Im not a fan of his lack of content and him getting pushed aside in rocketshipping fanfics but if you just dont want to make a story about him just fucking admit that. Dont shoehorn one in or actively lie and imply one exists where it doesnt. If you only want to use a character as a side-character to a story focussed on someone else you have every right to do that just broadcast it and let me either get on with my day finding a fic i am interested in or let me enjoy the story without your forced barely-existent pandering
