Chapter 25
"Why isn't Jurni awake?" Selina frowned walking back into the room. Its been 2 days and while Kiah was awake, Jurni wasn't. While being held by Myra, when Kiah would give Jurni her food Jurni often kept it in a small room plus from the lack of eating her appetite slowly went away, so when she did eat she ate small portions of food.
Kiah didn't know what Jurni was doing until the doctors told her that Jurni hadn't been eating. The nurse came in along with Selina and answered her question. "Jurni hadn't been eating or drinking anything. At the moment she's in a coma from lack of food and water, plus she was already passed out when she arrived." The nurse did a quick checkup on Kiah and then left.
Myra and all the people that was in the house was sent to prison. Myra was sentenced to 21 years with probation for kidnapping and child abuse. All the other guys were sentenced to 15 years for involvement. Everyone was glad they could actually breathe again, Braelynn was dead and all the other people was put in jail. The girls that were held captive were free.
Kiah just wished her sister could've gotten out too. The Rose family felt a large weight off their shoulders, now all they needed was for Jurni to wake up.
"We need to talk about what to do after they get discharged." Zyaire said and everyone agreed. "Kiah and Jurni is gonna need therapy, especially Jurni." Mahlik said.
Even though they were both kidnapped Jurni was a child, she was gonna have nightmares. And so was Kiah however she's a grown woman so it wasn't really gonna effect her as much as it would Jurni.
They day slowly ended, Selina, Ronald and Zyaire went back home to wash and sleep. Mahlik stayed in hopes Jurni would wake up in the middle of the night or something. Kiah fell back asleep, the bottom of her gown had risen up and Mahlik saw a mark.
He pulled her dress up a little more and gasped at what he saw. Her leg had bruises and whip marks. If Kiah had that he was afraid of what he'd find on Jurni. He put her gown back down and sat back.
He looked up at the ceiling and shook his head. "Ion know what that bitch did to y'all but your both gonna tell me." He said. Jurni's heart moniter beeped and he smiled when he knew she could hear him.
With that thought in mind he fell asleep.

Jaliana opened up her brand new pack of gum and chewed it. "You chew like a cow." Isaac laughed, Jaliana rolled her eyes. "So what?" She asked. Jaliana didn't chew like a cow in fact she only smacked on her gum when she was alone, that sound often annoyed people but to her the sound was satisfying.
Isaac snatched the pack away from her and held it up so she couldn't reach it. "Lets see here, extra watermelon gum." He read.
"Great you can read now give it back." Jaliana tried reaching for the pack but he only raised it higher. "Isaac give it back!" She shouted as he was getting on her nerves. "Kiss me." He smirked.
Jaliana held a disgusted look and backed away. "That's nasty. My mama says to never kiss a random boy, they ca' make you sick." Jaliana said.
India walked over to them and smirked. "Kiss my brother or else!" She threatened. Jaliana rolled her eyes. "Where's a teacher when you need them?" She mumbled under her breath. "What you gonna do? Scream you already sound like Minnie Mouse." Jaliana retorted.
Kaleb didn't come to school today so Jaliana was on her own. Even though she could easily fight India she feared Isaac would hit her too. Isaac would hit on anybody no matter their gender.
