Chapter 8
"B ion care if you are the boss you cannot tell her the truth. Our plan won't go thru just tell her about the Roses nothing else." B nodded as she dismissed her team and took a deep breath.

Kiah hummed to herself as she strolled around the store hanging more clothes that just came in yesterday. After that entire fiasco with Zyaire and them she asked for space away. Zyaire didn't wanna agree but they convinced him otherwise. Kiah needed to get herself together and figure out what to do next but she knew she had to ask Braelynn as much as she could about that family.
"Hey! What you wanna know?" Braelynn asked when she found Kiah. It was 10:20 and they didn't open for another 40 minutes so they went to Kiah's office. Kiah sat behind her desk and Braelynn sat on the small couch. "I wanna know everything. Just tell me." She took a deep breath and Braelynn started.
"Their last name is Rose, Ross is their undercover last name. Its almost like a Mafia. Zyaire is the youngest of the pack he does what he's told. Mahlik is the oldest, the Boss. He tells them what to do. Ronald and Selina are the middle kids and since their twins Mahlik chooses which one is the underboss." Braelynn said and Kiah nodded.
"How do you know so much about them?" Kiah asked and Braelynn licked over her lips. "Don't tell anyone but i dated Ronald." She lied and Kiah nodded. "What else?" Kiah asked.
"After i tell you this you have to cut all ties with them." Braelynn said and Kiah nodded slowly. After what they accused her of doing she wasn't sure if she wanted to be associated with them and it scared her to know what they were capable of.
Braelynn took a deep breath. "They murdered your parents." Kiah's jaw fell as she took in the information. "I did a lot of research on that family and it turns out they had some type of beef with your parents that led to their death." Braelynn nodded as she spoke.
"So that's why they accused me of killing their parents. Because they killed mine." She frowned and Braelynn nodded. "But they said they recieved cards with letters that spelled my name." Kiah frowned and Braelynn nodded.
"The Roses accuse your parents of killing theirs so Serenity and Keith used your full name Alekiah as a type of code. Kiah means new beginning and that's what they wanted. They wanted them to stop accusing them of killing their parents. That's why nobody calls you Alekiah only Kiah." Braelynn nodded.
Kiah didn't know what to think or say so she closed her eyes. "Zyaire's job was to make you fall for him so to their enjoyment you'd suffer more when they killed you." Braelynn said and Kiah bit at her lip.
"It worked. I fell for Zy." She felt herself about to cry and knew she had to end everything with that family but was afraid.
"What do you know about them?" Braelynn asked. "Besides what i told you." She cleared up. "Uhm....Zy said their parents were outta town and they had just moved down here." Kiah frowned. "They said their job was to protect what's theirs. To protect their family." Kiah said.
"That's it?" Braelynn asked and Kiah nodded. There was a long silence as Kiah processed what just happened. She just found out Zyaire's family killed her parents over some type of beef but now Kiah wanted to know what this beef was. She wanted to know why they killed them and then accused her of killing their parents.
Braelynn went to open the store as Kiah got herself together. When she heard Selina's voice she braced herself and made an appearance. When she locked eyes with Selina she felt hatred towards her. "Hey Ki baby! I know you said you wanted a break but Zy wanted me to check on you." Selina's smile soon fell when she saw Kiah's face.
