Cate and I walked to lunch, skipping down the hall, arm in arm, and loudly singing Holiday by Green Day.
"Hear the sound of the falling rain
Coming down like an Armageddon flame. Hey!" I sang.
"The shame!" Cate giggled after her part.
"The ones who died without a name!"
"Hear the dogs howling out of key, To a hymn called 'Faith and Misery'!"
"I beg to dream and differ from hollow lies!"
"This dawning of the rest, of our lives-"
"ON HOLIDAAAAAAY!!" We sang the last part together before walking into the cafeteria.
Ashton smiled at Cate as we walked over to where he and Luke were sitting.
"Hey babe." Ashton said as he hugged her. She laughed and pecked him on the cheek.
Luke looked kind of lonely.
"What's wrong Lukey?" I asked as I sat down on him.
No, we aren't dating.
"They look so happy and I'm so lonely." He sighed.
"Amanda still won't answer you?"
"No."
I wrapped my arms around him to hug him.
When I pulled away, I had a michevious grin on my face.
"What are you thinking, Lena?"
"Nothing..... You know, Amanda is sitting awfully close to Clifford. So I was just thinking...." I trailed off as a look of understanding crossed his face.
"A prank."
