"Why Young? Scared?" Jeon Wonwoo taunted, sensing that he had tensed up slightly. "That guy will die eventually. It'll definitely be by Seungkwan's hands. Don't expect anything of it."

Young looked up and stared right into his eyes. The two exchanged glances that spoke a thousand words. It was as if they were having a conversation- No. An argument. Yet Young's determination to get Seungkwan out of the gang and help him was no match for the cold eyes of Jeon Wonwoo. Eyes that were lost of colour, emotion, and eyes that were heartless. With no doubt, Young lost the stare-off.

"This job better be covered properly. If Seungkwan or you get caught, I'll make sure Seungkwan is the only one that actually manages to be bailed out." Young threatened, grabbing Seungkwan by his wrist and marching out. His gaze making every lackey standing within the room make way for the two.

"Hello? Young? What's up?" Min spoke casually as if he was talking to a friend. That one day when they had all met was more than enough to get Min to see Young as a friend now. He wasn't going to lie, he did enjoy the fact that they had the ice broken around each other and could interact much more comfortably now.

"Wanna have lunch? I just dropped Seungkwan off at his stop and it's dinner now." Young stared at the piece of paper he scribbled moments ago. He had a plan in his head he hoped to carry out when meeting Min.

"Yeah sure, let me finish up my mountain pile of work and I'll be done for today. Meet me at the Hideout Café and wait for me there. There's lesser people so there's no chance you'll be seen, wear a mask just in case though." Min mumbled into the phone as he dashed around the station, printing documents and violently typing into the monitor.

"Yeah, yeah Mr Naggy, you too. A friend of the so called culprit is a culprit in society's eyes. See ya." Young blabbered before cutting the call off without giving Min a chance to respond.

Min sighed, staring at the screen of his phone. He managed to somehow finish the remaining mountain pile of work while he was simultaneously talking to Young. Okay, maybe not mountain pile, but he had a lot of work which he was finally done with. No wait, one more thing. Min thought to himself. This one was more important than any other piece of work he had.

"Hyung. Explain it to me. I won't leave until you do." Min sat on the chair within Seungcheol's office, crossing his arms and pouting like a 5-year-old child to appeal to the older male.

"I told you that day already, it's nothing, I just said it without thinking. My words held no meaning Min. Just get off work before more tasks come to you." Seungcheol sighed. He didn't even spare a glance at the younger. Seungcheol knew it all too well, Min had something about his facial expressions that just got people to do what he wanted. It always worked well when they needed to somehow scare a suspect into confessing, or a lost child into telling them what they needed to know to send them home. Heck, Seungcheol and Soon would often fall victims to his facial expressions.

Seungcheol smiled to himself internally, remembering the times he had spent with Soon and Min. It was close to enough to letting him spill the beans about the important information he had been holding back. But he stopped himself. He knew it wasn't time yet. Min can't be left with plain information that can't even clear Soon's name. He'd only tell Min once he has confirmation.

"So, hyung? I know it's about Inspector Wen and Prosecutor Chwe. This is about Soon hyung right?" Min broke his pout and held a more serious face.

"Ignore it Min. It really isn't anything. Now leave before I really give you work to do." Seungcheol deflected his words. He needed to be a wall right now. A wall that can bounce back questions but cannot be broken. For now. Min took the hint. When Seungcheol was going to keep his mouth shut, he really would, and Min was more than clear of that. Letting out another sigh once again, he decided to get up and just meet Young.
