"Hyung?" Seungkwan froze, dropping the bat right beside the target who let out a whimper, flinching as he did. Young, as Seungkwan called hyung, snapped Seungkwan back to his senses, looking around him, seeing the splatters of blood as he backed away from the barely conscious man, and his own blood covered hands.
"N-no. I-I'm sorry, sorry, sorry" Seungkwan muttered, slumping himself in the chair and dumbfounded by himself. "H-hyung" He uttered, looking up toward his hyung who was staring at the mess, his brain working at the fastest speed possible as he tried to figure how he should do this. Leaving a loud sigh, the one most possible and easiest solution became the only solution in his head, pulling out his phone and dialling the numbers he hated to see.
"H-hyung, what are you doing?" Seungkwan simply stared at Young who only replied with an "mm" before putting the phone by his ear.
"Yes, he had the job done god dammit. Send us a car for us to transport the target or else I'm not going let the target leave this place alive, you need him alive don't you?" The male intimidated, his eyes glared at the space in front of him, as if the male he was calling was there physically.
"I got that man to help us clean this mess, let's leave now Kwan-ah. We should get you cleaned up." Young shoved his phone into his pocket before grabbing the blood-covered male by his wrist and dragging him out by another exit to avoid gaining unnecessary attention.

"Seungcheol? You have a new case, sightings of our ex-detective Soon reappeared. He's with a friend this time." The superior walked in, gently dropping the case file as well as the cctv footage on Seungcheol's table, as he was about to leave, he quickly turned around, eyes filled with care as he looked at the Head Detective.
"I know you still stand by his innocence, but I gave you this case, because he isn't the man you think he is. I hope you realise it with the case. In any chance you come into confrontation. Seungcheol, I hope you know what's right." He finished, exiting before Seungcheol had any chance to rebut, leaving a pent up and tired Seungcheol who simply had no energy to deal with debating back.
The hopeful detective spent the whole of his night trying to search for clues that could prove his junior's innocence but all he got was nothing but dead ends, whatever energy he had that he wanted to use for rebutting was gone. Letting out a loud sigh, he grabbed the case file and sluggishly opened it, plugging the CCTV USB into his monitor and clicking around to open the file.
Rubbing his eyes and blinking a few times, he spotted the suspects in question. Playing around with the clip and forwarding the clip back and forth, he realised a specific detail that seemed to stand out to him.
"Wait a minute.." He mumbled, bringing his body toward the monitor as he squinted his eyes trying to form a better image. Zooming into the paused video that only got more pixelated, his eyes widened, double checking it to make sure his eyes wasn't playing a trick on him, the smile on Seungcheol's face only got wider as he gave confirmation to himself.
"YES! I knew it Soon! I knew you were innocent." He pulled himself away, punching a fist in the air. Pulling the USB out, a gummy smile made its way to his face as he headed out of his office and on his way to the superior's office. Just as he was about to knock on the door, a voice inside him stopped him in his tracks. "No one can be trusted." He muttered under his breath, shaking his head, he chose to go back to his office and keep the clip to himself.
The clip showed the supposed Soon with a silver chain cross earring, but the real Soon never had his ears pierced. The young detective was scared to do so, even swearing he'd never do it in his life ever.
