"Where is he.." Soon mumbled, picking at his fingernails. The upset younger had been out ever since afternoon and he still hasn't been back after so long. Knowing that he is practically a carbon copy of his best friend at work, the male was worried for what could possibly danger him, especially since news got out that Min was a close friend of him, the accused.
Getting up from the sofa, he paced around the kitchen, and to the living room, and the kitchen again impatiently, that is, until he heard the door click.
"He's back." He mumbled under his breath sharply.
"Youngie!" A slurred voice could be heard at the door, Soon turned his head, only to see a drunk Gyu.
"I'm Soon, not Young." The detective clarified, rushing to the drunk male who practically lunged himself at the older.
"You drunk shit." Soon complained as he lifted the giant up to carry toward the sofa, a loud thud paired along with his landing.
"Youngie, why can't you just tell me, I already know!" The younger paddled his legs against the sofa, pouting and frowning.
"Oh keep it down! There are neighbours you know!" Soon whispered, moving his hand to cover the whining younger's mouth.
"Do you know Youngie? From when we first met, at the orphanage. I wanted to be with you for life." The tipsy male threw the older's hand away in annoyance, furrowing his eyebrows.
"W-what?" The older froze in place. It wasn't him of course, that the male was talking about his lookalike, but it still shocked the older in some way.
"What else Youngie, why do you think I care so much! But you don't even bother! I love you so fucking much Youngie." He blurted out, his voice wavering as tears welled up. "I always have been beside you Youngie, why can't you listen to me for once? Like I always did with you."
"K-kid, I'm not Youngie. I'm Soon." The detective managed to get his frozen hand to gently push Gyu's slipping body back on the sofa before he dashed to the toilet to get a sink and towel.
"Youngie!" The younger chimed with a huge smile the showed his canines clearly, Soon keeping silent as he wrung the towel, putting it on his head.
"This can't do." He sighed to himself, the emotional roller coaster this man was on was going to swing himself off the sofa as a whole. Shaking his head, he decided to carry the drunk male into the bedroom.
"What are you doing Youngie!" The male cheered, swinging his arm around his neck making the older feel his heart racing for no apparent reason.
Laying the male by the bed, he slumped down on the chair, letting out a huff of relief. Gyu wasn't the lightest. Sure he wasn't huge, but the male make it pretty clear he worked out with his significantly broad shoulder and toned arms, even for Detective Soon, he was a challenge
"Youngie!" The younger suddenly leaped up from his bed, facing the worn out male and heading for his face.
"Gyu what-" Before the older could do anything, the wasted male crashed his lips into the detective's. Soon's stomach twisted into a knot. He didn't know what was going on, but he went with it, the prominent scent of alcohol was replaced by an intoxicating one, a masculine fragrance filled his nose.
The scent hypnotised the tired detective, both males indulged themselves in the kiss, until the chime of the phone snapped the older out of it. His eyes flashed open, pushing the drunk younger on the bed and dashing out of the room.
The younger made no more noise after, and somehow managed to fall asleep without worry. The older on the other hand had more to think about, like why he let himself go along with it, and why he is upset right now that he broke the kiss. The butterflies in his stomach didn't stop, his red hot cheeks matched the colour of a tomato. Moving his fingers to his lips, a small smile broke through.

"Hello? I have the location. But, but, promise me you don't bring backup? He's losing trust in me because he knows what I'm up to, bringing one whole team of police officers isn't going to help." Young convinced, with a hint of desperation.
"Okay, I won't but, I'm keeping my pistol with me." Min assured, ending the call. Trusting a gang member from a gang that framed his friend wasn't exactly the plan he had in mind, but it was also him only plan. With practically the whole police force against him including even Seungcheol hyung whom he trusted, Min really didn't have a choice. Sighing heavily, he checked his messages for the location and headed toward it.

"Morning Soon hyung!" A cheery voice emerged from the bedroom, paired with a bright smiling Gyu that skipped out of his room, as if he isn't suffering from any form of hangover.
"Oh, uhm, yes morning. I made hangover soup for you, it's on the kitchen counter." Soon muttered, avoiding eye contact and shifting visibly on the couch as he switched between channels.
"Hey hyung, did I do something last night?" The younger sneaked his way in front of the older and popped his head inches away from Soon, who only flinched in response and turned his head at another direction.
"Ah no you didn't, don't worry!" Soon exclaimed, letting out an awkward cough before he got up.
"I'm kind of tired, I'll go rest." A tiny smile broke out on his face before he dragged himself to the room.
"What was that, what happened last night? This hangover, gosh." The younger turned to see the detective's hurried figure scurry into the room. Shrugging his thoughts off, he scratched his nape and headed to the kitchen.
"Woah it smells so good. Thanks so much hyung!" He beamed as he held up the bowl, devouring the soup, munching on the ingredients with a wide smile.
On the other hand, Soon was met with another rush of blood flowing to his face.
"What the heck was that." He cupped his own face, a mix of happiness and confusion hitting him.
