"I'm Gyu."
The young detective scanned the man from top to bottom, unconvinced.
"Don't joke around Min, your detective skills weren't that good, how did you manage to find me?" He playfully pushes the male away lightly, chuckling.
"What? Who? I'm Kim Gyu, I'm here to help you." He frowns, signalling the male to leave the living room and follow him. Soon stands there, rubbing his nape in confusion.
"What are you doing? Stop zoning out, I made some food, come here and eat" The tall male stood behind the kitchen counter and directed his hand toward the bowl of seething hot noodles sitting on counter.

"Who the heck are you? What do you mean by help me?" He questions non stop, as he stares at the bowl of noodles sitting in front of him.
The taller male pushes the noodles nearer to Soon. "All you need to know is that I'm here to clear your name."
Soon pushes the bowl away again. "Tell me all the details. You can't help a dead man."

"Min, you have a new case. It's a gang case." Seungcheol slid the the case file across the table.
"Hyung! I mean, Sir, you know I'm still intent on investigating Soon's case." Min protested.
"I know Min, but the higher ups assigned it, someone even you and I don't know. It's just a gang fight, and you just have to arrest the involved ones." The male nodded in defeat, grabbing the case file and heading out the door.
"This is way too sketchy, I need to find out more about this"

*??? POV*
Shit, I can't get anywhere with this. No leads. Nothing. I turned on my phone and checked online for the last time and stopped at the photo of that young officer and his friend. Kim Min wasn't it? He could be worth a shot.
"Hello? Is this Seoul police? I would like to schedule a call with Kim Min?"
I let out a sigh after ending the phone call. This has to work.
***
"Are you the one framing Soon?" Jeez. This Kim Min was a direct with his words.
"No! Yes! I mean, I didn't mean to. Look, I have what you need, information, everything. But I need help getting my friend and I out of somewhere too." I tensed. Way to go, your one way of getting help and you decide to almost confess on framing a detective. Getting his help won't be easy.
"Nice joke, you're a fugitive, and one that framed my best friend, what makes you think I'll help you? Much less not arrest you if I ever track you down." I sighed. Can't he relax? I can't even come close to a normal conversation with him right now.
"Because I can help you. And I need you to help me get my friend out a gang." The whole call turned silent. How amazing, he's probably tracking my location with the phone call now. I'm a fugitive. Not an idiot, I have my number masked.
"What gang?" I let out another sigh. This is not going to go well.
"Mad Hatter. I know what this sounds like. This isn't a trap, really. I just want my friend out of the gang. Please." I pleaded with my whole heart. For real though, I can't have him getting haywire.
"I'll think about it. But if don't think you're out of the radar yet. I'm still keeping my eyes on you." He warned me before he just hung up. That was intense.
I ruffled my own hair and shook my head, staring at the article again. If my hunch is right. I just might be able to get Kwan out and this Kim Min can help his detective friend save his own career.

*Third Person POV*
"I got another job hyung" He mutters to the other male. "Kwan! I told you not to, reject it. I don't care how he's going to see this, reject it." The older male frowns, firmly making his stand.
"B-but hyung. Boss said-" the younger protested, reasoning that the boss was the one who wants this to be carried out.
"No buts Kwan. I don't want you being a brainless pet just carrying out his orders. I told you that I will get us out, doing his dirty work does not help. Reject it Kwan. At all costs." The older chided.
"A-alright hyung" The younger nods in compliance.
***
"I'm not telling you the details!" Gyu protested again.
"Then I won't eat." The young detective protests again like a 5 year old, with his arms crossed and head turned to the side.
"Suit yourself. You want to clear your name and return to your friend and your job don't you? Well be a dead man then. Dead men can't have a life." He argues back again.
Glancing slightly at the male who finally turns his head back and lets out a tiny pout before warily picking up the spoon to scoop up the food and put it in his mouth.
"Finally." He sighs as he rolls his eyes.
"God" Soon let out a whisper.
"What?" Gyu turned his head toward the male. The food stuck in his mouth.
"Are you a god or something. Why is this so good" The male soon forgot his situation, chugging down the noodles in big mouths. The younger only chuckled.
"You definitely aren't a detective or an arsonist. You're a freaking hamster." He shook his head. The older frowned, his mouth full of noodles.
"I'm a tiger." He blabbered with his stuffed mouth. Gyu shook his head, dodging the soup that splashed.
"Tiger my ass..jeez" He mumbled to himself.

"Give me an update on the Kim Min." A deep voice spoke intimidatingly, "I gave him a case to work on, I'm trying to brush off the case of his friend Kwon Soon already." Another voice replied.
"That's not good enough. I heard that he is trying to investigate on his best friend's case. We don't want that happening do we?" The deep voice spoke, moving closer to the other male, his glare pierced through the male, scaring him.
"W-what should we do then?" Intimidated, the male stuttered out his words.
"What else? Put a tail on that boy, and make sure he doesn't know anything more than he already does."
"Y-yes sir." The terrified voice stuttered, backing up against the wall.
"Don't fail, or else," The deep voice picked up a knife sitting against the weapon rack and fiddled with it.
"You know what's going to happen, don't you?" He continued with an evil smirk on his face, his eyes followed the movement of the knife in his hands. The male nodded, shaking.
"Now go." His smile becoming a clenched jaw as he turned to throw the knife directly at a cork board.
"And don't fail" The male didn't reply, but only ran out of the base, sweating as he frantically pulled out his phone to dial for a private investigator to keep tabs on Kim Min.
"Hello? I need eyes. On Kim Min. Report to me his every move."
