I find lessons in a scavenger hunt
held by a world always moments
away from falling apart.
In riots and protests,
I found strength among
the unnecessary violence.
In the global pandemic,
I found hope tucked between
death and fighting for a cure.
In growing financial panic,
I found comfort knowing
help is always nearby.
I may not find all the things
the world has me searching for,
but I'm keeping my eyes open.
