Expect the unexpected, I mumbled
Cause the last time I experienced it left me troubled
How could somebody expect the unexpected?
When you yourself is never been expected?
Past is past, I quote
In history books they wrote
But in times you’ll never know
That sometimes things get out of hand, you know?
I’m starting to hate phrases
Especially the one that has been phrased
Expect the unexpected, I again grumbled
But the last thing I can do was just to mumble
I never know that day would come
So I just relaxed and mind no one
But poof, here he is smiling
In front of me looking oh-so-dazzling
He looked at me and greeted
A greeting that I never have expected
Not a common greeting, you see
But a cheerful ‘Mon-Mon’ to me
He was my crush you know
But do mind the past tense I showed
So I wonder what happened back then
For my heart starts beating so fast now and then
Past is past, I said
But why is he here, I do complained
Looking the same, even in the past years
With those eyes left me remembering those years
I just nodded to what he said
As I sit down beside him I prayed
Praying, oh God! How could I concentrate?
When my heart is having this kind of rate?
