"Christina!"

"She's going into labor," Edward concludes after reading her baby's thoughts. "The stress was too much—"

"Get another bed upstairs set up!" Carlisle ordered.

Christina tried breathing through the pain— but it only mixed in with her thirst. She wanted to cry from being in so much pain.

"Christina, can you hear me?" Carlisle asked. He got a silent nod from his wife— he could almost hear the sound of her teeth clenching together. "I have to pick you up and move you, okay?"

She nodded again.

Carlisle was quick to bring her upstairs and put her on her feet. She clenched onto the counter next to her; her fingers making indents from the pressure she was holding on to it with. The blood was almost too much in the office, she wanted to sink her teeth into something. She growled out, using her other hand to grip tightly to her knee as she bent over in pain.

"Carlisle," she growled out. "I need—" She choked as pain erupted through her stomach. A warm liquid fell down her shaking legs, and spilt onto the floor.

"Her water broke!" Edward called.

"We got to move, now!"

Carlisle scooped his wife back into his arms before laying her down on the bed. Alice was quick to hold down the mother's arms as the boys got everything situated. "It's gonna be okay—"

Alice was cut off from a scream from Christina. She wiggled against Alice's restraint, almost getting free if Edward hadn't come and held down her shoulders. She growled loudly.

"The baby's coming!" Edward called out, reading the baby's thoughts again. "She needs to push."

"Fuck this," Christina hissed as both Edward and Alice held up her legs. Every inhale and exhale was a huff and puff of a growl. "It hurts so fucking bad!"

"Your body is trying to fight the labor, we need to do this fast," Edward ordered.

"We need you to push, Christina," Carlisle advised as he stood at the end of the bed. "Next contraption you feel—"

"Yeah, I know," she whimpered, laying her head back onto the bed. She wanted to cry so bad from the amount of pain she was in. "Okay, okay," she croaked.

"Push, push, push," Carlisle instructed.

Christina listened to his instructions, pausing when needed, and pushed when she had to. It wasn't until a loud cry sounded throughout the room that she relaxed. If Alice wasn't holding her head up, she would have fell backwards.

"It's a boy," Carlisle spoke over the cries. Christina looked back up with a soft grin.

"Greyson," she muttered.

Carlisle placed the bundle of blankets onto her chest, as she laid back down. The boy stopped crying as he stared up at Christina.

"He remembers your voice," Edward spoke softly.

Christina hummed lightly. "Hi."

Greyson smiled toothlessly up at his mother as she closed her eyes again.

Carlisle leaned down as Alice and Edward left the room; the latter going to see his own baby. He placed his hands on both Christina and Greyson's head, before landing a kiss on the mother's forehead. "Great job, Nina."

"I felt like I was dying," she muttered softly, opening her black eyes to look at Carlisle. "But it was worth it." Her hand ran up and down her baby's back softly, lulling him to sleep. "I need to hunt," she whispered. "I almost lost control if Alice and Edward didn't hold me down."

Carlisle nodded his head. "We'll go hunt."

It took a little longer to convince Christina to finally get up— and yes, the baby will be okay in Alice's care. Christina was greedy, taking down multiples of deer before finding a mountain lion. Carlisle let her run off and do her thing while he took down a few deer of his own.

Christina was just happy that she didn't want feel sick from the blood anymore. She loved bringing Greyson into the world— but the appetite wasn't pleasurable.

After the mountain lion, Christina claimed she was finally full and ready to return home. She was mostly excited to return to her children, wanting to wait until both Carlisle and Christina were there to introduce them.

The couple jumped on to their balcony, allowing the mother to get dressed out of her bloody clothing before meeting their children.

As soon as Christina walk down the stairs, Annie was up and off the couch with tears in her eyes. The young mother was quick to scoop her up; feeling nice to be able to do so without a baby bump in the way.

"I'm sorry that I scared you," Christina whispered in her daughter's ear. "I didn't mean to. I'm so sorry."

Annie nodded her head before wanting to be traded off to Carlisle. The doctor grabbed her, resting her on his hip as she cuddled into his neck. "Do you want to meet your new brother?" he whispered into her ear.

She nodded her head lightly, glancing out from his neck to give her mother a small smile.

Alice came into the room at that moment, and handed the newborn to the mother. Greyson opened his eyes as soon as he was passed off into another set of arms, before smiling and closing his green eyes again.

Christina moved to sit down on the couch— feeling strange that she was doing this less than twelve hours ago with Greyson in her stomach.

"Annie, this is your brother, Greyson," Carlisle introduced as he sat next to his wife.

Annie reached out a hand and gently touched the top of his head, making his eyes open in wonder. They both stared at each other for a silent moment before Greyson gave her a toothless smile. Annie giggled before holding out her arms. "Can I hold him?"

Christina gently set Greyson into Annie's arms, watching as he fell back to sleep. Her heart warmed as she watched Carlisle hold both of their children in his arms, wanting more than anything to remember this exact moment forever.
