Elena wondered about a lot of things lately, ever since she erased her memories of Damon Salvatore. She wondered if he was a good boyfriend and what they did together and if he truly loved her. She also wondered if erasing her memory was the right thing to do.
After all, Damon said they had a wonderful romance and that he would never want to forget what they had. But Elena was different and I guess she couldn't handle the pain of losing her loved one. She has lost many in her life but she thought Damon would last forever. Elena doesn't know how she felt because she has forgotten, but her friends continue to remind her.
