18: Devious maid

Hassa's POV

So Zain leaves and Ya Farouk clutched at his chest area.

It all happened in slow motion.

Ya Farouk slips and fall. I can hear Yaya Sa'ah shouting, holding him, crying...

I step away in severe shock.

It is the exact thing that killed my brother.

I didn't know Ya Farouk had heart problems. He never shared it with us. The shock of what I did, managed to overwhelm his heart and it failed.

If Ya Farouk knows what it is I do with all the money he gives me, will he have died a long time ago?

Or maybe he knew and it's what had given him heart problems. He had loved me like no other. He gave me anything I want. And he could never stay angry at me for long.

Is this what I have repaid him with?

I knew instantly that I will not end this life a good way. There is no way I would I die peacefully with all the things that I did to my brother.

My heart grows so cold.

I hate Zain for acting the way he did. If he hadn't treated Ya Farouk like trash, he wouldn't have been so angry.

To Ya Farouk, it wasn't just my dignity which I lost, it's also my respect, my value as a human being. He is strict about these things and his love for me is blinding him to correcting my faults at times.

To him, Zian had slept with me in his own house and then walks out as if I was nothing but a whore.

How can he take that?

My brother who promised my parents to keep me safe till his dying breath?

No. I had my faults. But Zain was the reason my brother died!

I vow to pay him back a million fold over.

I must make him regret ever treating anyone else like that.

Mira's POV

So Mr Bali had left quietly before Zain ever got around to firing him. Zain is still looking for him!

I am told by Yola, my loyal puppy, that he was ashamed of the fact that he didn't see my attack coming. He didn't think he deserves to be the chief security in Zain's house!

But now that I have yola replace him, it seems as if I can get intel on anyone I like.

The head maid is next on my list.

So it's uncomfortable with Momsie and Marmie around. I just packed my hacker tools and staged my work area inside the theatre room.

Yola said Mr Bali had something going on with the head maid, Lucinda. So immediately when I heard that, I knew what kind of attack I would use on her.

This is 'man in the middle' attack hackers use since before hacking computers became so enjoyable. It's a technique that hackers use which has been a headache since the 1980s!
