"Where are they?" I ask, following after Elena through the underground tunnels.

Stefan and Klaus took Connor, which has Elena and Damon pissed. After Jeremy was healed Elena tried to leave. I had to convince her to let me come. I knew she was gonna do some dumb shit just based on how furious she was. Jeremy went off to make sure April and Matt were okay.

"I hear them, it's faint. They're arguing." She mutters, stopping in her tracks for a moment. I look at her in confusion as she does. Suddenly someone runs from the shadows and throws her against the walls, making a loud crashing sound. I see Connor, holding her by her neck against the walls. How the hell was he loose.

Elena gasps for breath, making me snap out of my shock and confusion. She grabs his wrist, fighting off his grip. She was weak- he must've had vervain. I see his fist dive into her chest towards her heart.

I guess it was my time to shine- the only human. Yaknow not the other powerful ass vampires that were busy bickering in some random part of the tunnels.

I quickly jump onto the mans back, catching him completely off guard. I attempt to hold him in a headlock, which doesn't work when he throws me off of him. He snaps Elena's neck, making her fall lifelessly to the floor. His attention was now on me- and he didn't look to happy.

Great.

He throws me against the tunnel walls, making me feel almost paralyzed with pain. Ya think I'd be used to this by now. He throws a punch directly in my face which definitely left a make. I feel my lip begin bleeding.

Dude was seriously beating my ass. Cmon I'm a 17 year old girl, no supernatural abilities here.

He positions his hands on my neck, and presses me against the wall. I begin choking up as I lose oxygen. I attempt to fight his hands off of me. I grip his hands as tight as I can, beginning to break skin with my nails. I knew if I let myself die or even pass out Elena would be dead for good. I felt my throat burn as it ached to scream for help.

Just as black dots begin to blur my vision his grip on me drops, making me fall to the ground. I try to catch my breath as I watch Elena sink her teeth into Connor's neck. She drains him, causing him to fall unconsciously. He was dead.

Once she pulls herself off of him, she looks down at the body in shock. Her eyes flicker to me as I cough, wincing with every breath from the pain at my throat. She zooms to my side, helping me up.

"Jesus christ." A voice speaks up making both of us look towards the three men who showed up a little to late.

Before we even have a chance to speak, Elena is snatched from beside me, leaving me Stefan and Damon in confusion at the two missing people. Could you guess who took her?

"He could've filled us in before Elena murdered the guy."

"Yeah we all know Klaus isn't the most eager to share info. But he is always eager to kidnap, weird if you ask me." Damon mutters making me scoff. Klaus wasn't always the brightest.

Apparently there was a fucking hunter's curse that Klaus decided to keep secret until Elena actually killed Connor. His ghost would try to make her kill herself and literally drive her crazy until she did- which Klaus had already experienced himself (to no avail- due to him truly being immortal.)

And theres currently no cure to my knowledge. Klaus just waited it out but I really don't think that's something Elena could even handle doing.

"I can't believe you lost her." Bonnie sighs, flipping through some spell book- looking for anything to do with the hunters curse.
