hello, im doing this whole "you should probably look at this a/n" thing again. i hope you dont mind. seeing as ive obviously never had a regular uploading schedule when it comes to my works its very easy to see that i started this book in 2017. i havent even reached chapter 18 in the past three years. truly, a tragedy. but its come to my attention that i only ever get on wattpad to see if anyone commented or to make my own comments in the hopes that in the next few years when anyone from the age of 13-15 is reading this and shaping their views on the world, because you can do that now, will understand where im coming from. im a young mixed woman in america that was lucky enough to pick up the white skin tone from my mother but that doesnt mean i do not mourn for my brothers and sisters who have lost their lives to the corrupt governing systems and the corrupt morals of the police. its not just in the uk or america or canada. its everywhere. in every neighborhood, city, country; everywhere. whether you see it or not it exists. i dont know what your struggles are but i would like for this comment section on this "chapter" to be about the issues going on in the world. like how china currently has muslim concentration camps and the president of the united states has actively said he supports them. like how earlier this week there was an explosion in lebanon that killed hundreds of people. like how war is still very prominent in the middle east and nobody cares as long as its not happening on their front doorstep. like how people in the philippines have lost part of their rights of which i dont know too much about but i do know that theyre suffering. how jeff bezos makes 13 billion in a day and thats enough to end all poverty in america. how president donald trump tried to take away the rights to transgender people and their medicare, how he calls this pandemic the "chinese virus", how hes forcing terrified children to go back to school, how he has control over things he shouldnt. governments are failing and thats scary. but remember, ACAB and that you should ALWAYS remember at the very LEAST that black lives have and always will matter, because theres too much in this world for us to be focused on. and its not enough to not be racist, you need to be anti racist. and the president labeled ANTIFA as a terrorist group but kept the KKK as an interest club as if they dont lynch people. do your research, don't believe everything you hear, make sure your sources are credible. im sorry, but this is the end of our journey, at least for now. -andi🖤🍯✨
