When Laiya Turner a dance prodigy is practicing for her performance at the Sydney Opera House in room B a certain someone can't keep his eyes off of her.
Will this be a one night occurrence? or will they meet again?

I placed my phone down and began mentally going over my dance doing small movements with my body.
"That was amazing next! Up next we have Laiya Turner from Los Angeles International Dance team with the dance Somebody you loved " he said walking off the stage signaling me to go on and take my place.

"That was amazing next! Up next we have Laiya Turner from Los Angeles International Dance team with the dance Somebody you loved" The man on the stage announced
Once the name had been announced my sisters, Anu, Sunday, Bella, Bodhi and Samson all looked at me.. is it about me? I thought
"What you're thinking is correct" Katie whispered into my ear

she took her place on the stage and the music began playing throughout the theatre, each and everyone of her movements so precise yet so carefree, she looked like a butterfly.
Laiyas dance (pretend it is just the girl no boy)
Everyone was in awe watching her, the dance was by far the best out of everyones. I could hear the sobs of Sunday who was latching onto Bella for comfort whilst my mum was squeezing Laiyas mums hand.
"Ruel she is amazing" Syvie whispered to me eyes still fixed on the girl on the stage
"I know I am shocked this is her best dance yet" I replied tears beginning to fill my eyes
Due to the fact we were very close to the front you could see the emotion on her face which also meant I could see the tears which although had not fallen were still glossing over her beautiful blue eyes.
I could tell she was trying not to make eye contact with me though when she did I could see her give me a faint smile which I returned with a big one and a small thumbs up. The dance came to an end, Laiya laying on the floor near the side of the stage before gracefully getting up and walking off.
The audience all standing up clapping and cheering including the judges.
"Wow what a way to end of the performances, Laiya you got me tearing up" he chuckled
"We would like to give the Judges 20 minutes to come up with the final decisions on this years winner! Please stay in your seats unless you are a coach or dancer then you must come back to the green rooms, once you have all assembled I would like all the coaches to come back and go to your seating area so that we can announce the winners or each category then the overall!" Explained the man
Majority of the people around us left to go to the team and we all began chatter
"Laiya has to win solo right?" One of the mums said
"You would think so I mean she had the whole audience tearing up" Emmas mum replied
Everyone one agreed, It had been a few minutes and the two coaches came back to our seats
"Thank you everyone for waiting we will now be announcing our winners for each category"
Laiyas pov
"Thank you everyone for waiting we will now be announcing our winners for each category"
Everyone squealed, our team all interlocked hands
"For Duo Trios, in third we have entry number 15, second we have entry number 27 and in first we have.." everyone began drumming on the floor
"Entry number 17 Laiya turner and Kailand Morris" We both jumped up and hugged each other walking over to collect our award whilst our family jumped up and started clapping very obnoxiously
"Up next we have group so in third we have Entry number 2, second me we have entry number 18 and in first place is entry number 14!" Again we all jumped up and hugged each other thanking the audience and giving credit to our coach and choreographer
Once we had taken a seat and they brought out a new set of awards the man began speaking again
"Ok and the last category is the one you are most excited for solos! In third place we have entry number 12, rainbow! In second we have entry number 10, hold on!" we all cheered as Emma went up to collect her award for second place I gave her a hug as she sat down
"And in first place is entry number....22, somebody you loved Laiya Turner!" The audience erupted into cheers as I stood up to except my award shocked that I got first
Once I had taken my place the overall winners were about to be announced
"Now it is time to announce the winning team for this years International dance competition finals, We would like to congratulate each and every dancer for competing today you all did amazing though there can only be one winner and this year that title goes to......" Everyone held hands whilst tapping the stage with our feet
"Los Angeles International Dance Team!" We all jumped up and hugged each other whilst our family and friends in the audience cheered like crazy
We accepted our award and walked off the stage to get changed into some comfy clothes still all cheering and having a good time, we were going to meet everyone at a restaurant we had rented out for our family and friends after so I needed to get changed and have a shower in the bathrooms.
