Once again, I found myself seeing all those runes again... although, they were in a new set of shapes... more rectangles. I also noticed everything that seemed to be non-living appeared to be white while the living things were a soothing navy blue... I could only tell something was living because the blue runes I saw appeared to be in a humanoid shape. Even where the stomach was supposed to be was simulating a stomach during breathing. Definitely alive.
The thing that made me a little nervous however was the glowing I saw at the figure's side... it was a crimson red glow... I reached for it... and a massive breath of fresh air filled my lungs like waves against the sand as I pulled on it... I started seeing everything turn normal as I took a closer look at what I was holding, and who it was next to...
Turns out, Aiko went to sleep with her sword and sheath still attached to her. If hat wasn't weird enough, she had changed into pajamas as well... Okay, thinking back it doesn't seem that weird until you think about why she was wearing her sword over her PAJAMAS! What kind of dream demons could she be-
"Shibuya..." I heard a low growl from her. I squeaked and scrambled backwards, almost falling off the bed. She sat up and held her hand out towards me. "My sword...." Aiko growled again. "...put it in my hand, now..." she added with a glare that felt so burning it was like she had heat vision or something! I was terrified of the person in front of me. She was nothing like she was yesterday! I quickly turned the blade to my chest and gave her the hilt. Aiko took it in her hand, and suddenly that deadly face turned back into the smiley, cute face I have fallen for. "Thanks!~" Aiko singsonged before re-sheathing the blade.
I was speechless... she went from a Yandere to herself in, like 4 seconds... and the transition FROM herself to Yandere took even less time!
This is why I didn't date any girls during my original life...
Aiko stretched and let out a slight groan before sitting up in one swift motion. I watched as she stood up, and sat down at her desk and pull a comb from one of the drawers, proceeding to run it through her hair to tidy it up.
"Hey, Aiko?" I finally uttered, prompting her to turn her chair around and look at me curiously, like a puppy. She responded with a simple 'hm?'. "What's so special about your sword, if you don't mind me asking?" I asked, nervous if she was gonna cut me a new one.
Aiko looked down at the sword on her hip and smiled, seemingly thinking about something she was fond of. She looked back to me, still smiling. "Well, this sword was... made for me, in a way." She started. "I was around six years old... Me and my brothers decided to do a little adventuring, when we tumbled upon the 'Kid Dungeon.' and of course, being kids, we decided to enter it..." she explained, having just finished her combing, she got up and unsheathed her sword and looked at it lovingly. "Turns out, the 'Kid' part of the Dungeon didn't mean it was meant for kids... it meant all the creatures inside were a form of Goat Creature! Honestly, thinking back, the fact we survived was a miracle. In one of the rooms, an ambush was set up. There was a classic sword in the stone type deal, and then as you touched the sword, four goat demons were summoned to fight the warriors in the room." She continued, shining the blade in the beautiful morning sun. It shimmered elegantly, in an almost divine light.
"The four demons ran at us, but my brothers defended me... they defended me with their lives while I ran in for the sword... It would only go to whoever was worthy, and it almost drained my life from me..." Aiko said, before smirking at me. "I'm sure you know what happened." She joked, causing us both to chuckle. "But, after I got the sword, I was able to erase all of those demons from existence with this holy blade of Pan: Arcadia!" She exclaimed, looking once more at the blade before sheathing it again. "I feel as though I am responsible to keep this blade safe so that any demons that come to our realm will be destroyed!" She exclaimed, clenching a fist. I'd never been more attracted to her than right then, seeing her so intense.
Aiko then looked at me with a slight glare. "Now get out, I gotta change!" She said, and I quickly walked out the room, blushing profusely.
I sat outside her door, when someone started knocking on the front door. I ran over there and opened it just as Enzo, the first of the two brothers, was about to do the same. I was met with a heartbreaking sight. Seinaru was outside the door, with rather large tears in his eyes. Before I could ask what was wrong, he threw himself into me and hugged me as tight as his little boy body could allow. Enzo looked at me, confused, but I just waved him off.
I allowed him in, and sat down with him at the dining room table. "Hey, do you mind waiting for Aiko to come out?" I asked, and he shook his head, causing a few tears to flick off his face and onto the floor. I felt so bad, not knowing what to do for this poor crying child. Thankfully I didn't have to think for long, as Aiko came out. She immediately went into motherly instinct mode and hugged him, rubbing his back and asking what was wrong.
"T-That bear...." he said first. My eyes widened, but he kept going. "...that bear Shibuya tamed wandered back into the forest... he found my house and... and-" He said before the waterworks started going again. I didn't need to hear another word as I joined in hugging him...
This boy was now an orphan... and I realize how.... I told the Bear it wouldn't hurt kids anymore... I never said anything about adults...
At around 8:30, Aiko and I decided it was best to let Seinaru stay at her house until we found someone who would take him in and care for him. Now we were headed to the forest to go train up and increase our level.
The way we of course did that was through cold, hard, murder of forest life. Thankfully, we didn't need to kill anything cute. We mostly killed imps and goblins. However, in our using swords to do this... I accidentally stabbed the foot of a sleeping Orc...
The guy got up, and looked very angry, letting out a roar and spitting all over the ground in the process.
Of course... I took the only logical route.... RUN!!!
I knew I wouldn't survive, but I knew I had to keep on running away. Despite his speed, I was able to at least pass a few trees before Aiko had to come to my aid... she held her sword up to him. "SHIBUYA!! What did you do?!" She shouted at me, before getting beat over the head with a large branch he must have picked up while chasing me. Quickly he ran at me and beat me over the head with the branch. Except I felt the attack, but in that same millisecond, I looked down and he had no head anymore.... he was bleeding all over the ground.
...I knew I had anger issues, but this was ridiculous.
Everything then went dark...
