Entry#3: Nagmamahal, Precious

 

Dear S.O.S.,

                Okay, I don’t know what is the meaning of your name, but I will just call you by it. Okay?

S.O.S., if you will read this, (sana mabasa mo no!) I hope malaman mo na I am so happy that you have finally found me.  You just don’t know how it was so mahirap to me leaving in a miserable place like this.

                Okay, I’ll kwento to you what really happened that night when the ship got sink.

                You see, I have a lot of foreigner friends. Yes! Foreigner friends. I am rich and I can buy this island and you too. But how can I buy you when my check book is somewhere down the dagat?

So anyway, that night was full of happiness, and joy, and wines, and money! There are a lot of super gwapo and macho Latino rin! But, lahat ng happiness ko na iyon ay biglang nag-lost and found nang may sunog na nangyari somewhere down the cabin daw. Please don’t ask me what is cabin; I know you don’t know that too.

                So, when somebody smelled the usok from the cabin, sumigaw siya na parang tanga. Of course nagpanic kaming lahat! Nawala kami sa sarili, we ran and ran and ran, not knowing where to go. I look for George, my love of my life. I saw him looking for me too.

Haay, ang swerte ko talaga kay George. Ang Briton kong boyfriend na noong gabi ring iyon ko lang nakilala. Sa unang pag-hand shake pa lang namin alam kong siya na. Oo, siya na talaga. Siya na ang gusto kong makasama habangbuhay. Love at first sight, oo, iyon ang nagyari sa amin. Sa unang pagkikita pa lang, may spark na agad. Siguro dahil iyon sa pink magical pen na hawak ko.

Nang nilingon na niya ako, he ran fast to me. He held my hand and told me na wag daw akong mag-alala. Wag mo nang ipa-translate sa’kin in English, alam kong hindi mo rin alam.

                Tumango ako bilang sagot. Pero dahil nagkakagulo na sa barko, the people were over singit-singit between us! My gosh! I want to hawi them all, but I can’t! I was stuck and I can’t move anymore! So, we just end up looking at each other’s eyes.

                Haaay, George is really my love of my life. We are so contented looking at each other’s eyes. It’s like we were talking to each other and that we will be safe in each other’s arms. Oo, ganyan talaga kapag love of a lifetime. Ikaw ba, nahanap mo na ba ‘yung sa’yo?

                Pero lalong nagkagulo sa barko at nabitawan ko ang so soft hand ni love of my life. I called his name. He called mine too. Don’t react agad, that’s how we show our love for each other. Bawal mainggit, ‘kay?

                Hanggang sa I was pushed down to the water. And I was drowned. I thought that will be the end of my life but no, I had another life! I was a lucky cat, di’ba?

                I woke up one day I was in the shore of an island, this island. Yes, I think I was the only survivor. After that night, hindi ko na nakita ang love of my life. I cried. I don’t know what to do. Being alone in this alone island? I don’t know what to do. I don’t have survival skills like those I see on amazing race or the survivor series on TV. I’m so alone.

                I entered the gubat to look for foods. I end up getting bunch and bunch of fruits. Guavas, banana, but not the buko, I don’t know how to open it. Oh di’ba? I had a fruit diet. That’s why I maintained this figure! Sexy!

                There were a lot of scary animals in here. And you will never experience it because you are not here. Each night, there is this kind of animal who looks really scary. Kamukha siya ng wild monkey. I don’t know what is the name of specie, but they are really scary! Hinabol niya ako once. Of course I ran as fast as I can. Kung hindi, hindi na sana ako makakapagsulat pa sa’yo. Mabuti at nailigaw ko siya. Every day I became a survivor. I can easily talo those contestants in Survivor series, (American or Pinoy). What we see in TV is much harder in real life. My real experience.

                So, if you would ever read this, I hope you will know that I have been wishing and hoping for you to find me in this lonely island. Don’t ask me where this is, I am an outcast, remember? I don’t know north and south. I don’t cruise, but I am rich. I am just keeping my dollars in the World Bank.

I was been here for about three months and I am still waiting for you. Please save me. If you won’t I will hunt you six feet on the ground. Horror ba? Dahil horror din ang buhay ko dito gabi-gabi.

                Alam mo ba kung ilang dosenang ahas ang iniiwasan ko gabi-gabi? Alam mo ba kung gaano kahirap ang pagkasyahin ang sarili sa puno makatulog lang? Malamang hindi, you were not here. You were not me.

                So if you come to find me, please bring me lots of marshmallows. I missed them! Siguro ikaw nagpapakasasa, buti ka pa. Samantalang ako, I’m hungry and craving for mashmallows. The soft like pillow marshmallows. Yung imported ha? Tsaka dala ka rin ng toothpick at chocolate. Gagawa tayo ng chocolate fountain. Together we will dip that marshmallows in the chocolate fountain! Imagine the taste. Hmmmn, yummy.

Pero okay na rin ako sa wiggles. Ayan ha? May tawad na. Para hindi ka na mahirapan sakaling mahirap kang S.O.S. ka.

                One more thing, please help me find my pink magical pen. Baka sakaling matulungan ka niyang mahanap ang love of your life. Gaya ko, may George. Haay, nasaan na kaya si George my love? Nahanap mo ba? Pakihanap na rin ha? At pakisabing nandito ako, umiibig pa rin sa kanya.
