"W-what?" Young froze a little. He was well aware of the way he has ignored Gyu over the period of time he started getting even more involved with the gang. Yet he was never confronted by anyone about his behaviour at all. It left Young baffled.

"You heard me. Explain why the heck you have been ignoring him. I told him that I'll tell you that he was resting. But I'm not a man of my words when someone is getting hurt. He's been fretting all over you because of this. Explain." Soon scolded. He was in a fit of anger the more he spoke. It didn't help that Young looked exactly like himself. Imagining himself do that to someone who looked exactly like Min hurt even more.

"It wasn't intentional." Young tried to brush things off. He didn't want to expose any more information to anymore people. "I have my reasons."

"What exactly are those reasons?" Young was asked again. But this time, it was a different voice that asked.

"G-gyu.." Young uttered. The sight of a Gyu with red eyes, a swollen face, and tears that were still in his eyes.

"What were the reasons that were so important, that you had to frame an innocent person, ignore your best friend, and continue doing dangerous things?" Gyu didn't care about whether Young would shut him out anymore. The built up anger and frustration inside him had finally exploded, except this time, he wasn't going to cry. He was going to face it.

"I had no choice. If I didn't, the boss wouldn't have let-"

"Let what? Your friend live? I told you so many times Young-ah. Just go to the police. Why can't you just let them help you?" Gyu cut him off. Extremely distressed by his words. It wasn't the first time that Gyu had heard these words, yet it hurts each and every time. He was upset at himself for not trying harder the first time he heard about it, and upset at Young for never listening to him, even though he used to take his advice all the time.

"You know what. Things can't get better if the both of you are going to fight. Gyu, go freshen yourself up and calm down. And as for you," Soon glared at Young, scanning him from top to bottom before letting out a sigh. "prepare some form of proper explanation that won't lead you two to another fight."

"So, ready to have a proper talk?" Soon declared. The three males were now sitting in the living room. The tension was still fresh in the air from just now.

"Okay, okay. The truth is, I'm trying to get my friend out of the gang. I can go to the police. Of course, but something just tells me I can't trust them. Mad Hatter is a huge gang Gyu-ah. If I was able to go to the police and report this, I would have done it long ago." Young let his reasons out. He was telling the truth, it was obvious that Jeon Wonwoo clearly had some form of control over the police force. Otherwise, it couldn't have been possible for him to avoid every ambush the force had initiated at them.

Gyu thought his explanation through. It did sound reasonable, yet Gyu couldn't help but bring his personal feelings into the whole situation. Every reason Young had come up with, Gyu had some way of flipping it into an excuse.

"Okay, reasonable. Next thing, why are you trying to frame me?" Soon questioned again. At this point of time, it was going to be an interrogation.

"I didn't mean to, it was my friend. He isn't sane, and the boss has been using it to his advantage to get his jobs done. I was there to get my friend out, and the cameras caught me. I really didn't mean it." Young explained. He didn't want to expose Seungkwan's problem to so many people, but it seemed like the only way to do it.

"Why didn't you just tell me that? You know I want to help you hyung-ah." Gyu trailed off. He was disappointed. Disappointed that Young didn't bother the least telling him this piece of information. Disappointed that Young didn't even try approaching him about it. Disappointed that Young didn't trust him.

"I-I'm sorry Gyu. I really didn't know what to do then." Young's voice shook. He was way too guilty about this. Gyu had always been there for Young without fail and yet Young repaid him with distrust and ignorance.

Gyu closed his eyes and shook his head in attempt to wake himself up. He knew it wasn't the right time to start a fight or a disagreement. They had more things at hand now. To clear Soon's name and get bother Seungkwan and Young out of the gang.

"L-let's set this aside. We have bigger problems at hand. We need to get you out of the gang and clear Soon hyung's name." Gyu made his effort in trying to settle this as calmly as possible.

"A-alright, I'll give you everything you need to-" Young was cut off by the ringing of his phone. Pulling out his phone to see the caller ID, Soon immediately grabbed the phone from Young's hands.

"M-min? Is that really you?" Soon stuttered. His eyes were wide in shock as soon as he had saw the name. Kim Min. There was no mistake.

"Soon hyung? Why do you have Young hyung's phone?" Min on the other hand was just as bewildered. He had always heard Young's voice that was the exact same as Soon. But hearing Soon's voice itself had something that couldn't be replicated.

"I'm with him and his friend right now, y-you should come over." Soon stumbled over his words, barely able to speak. The idea of being able to see his best friend once again without having to hide anywhere was enough to keep him smiling throughout the whole call. It was something that brought him joy. But on the other hand, it brought Gyu a foreign feeling of jealously. Yet Gyu wasn't sure why he felt like that. He liked Young. Not Soon.

"Jeon Wonwoo, Sunshine orphanage, admitted at the age of 14 after his parents were killed by his brother Jeon Won Ryu?" Seungcheol mumbled as he read the article. He was in shock. Years back when he had still been a student, he remembered himself going crazy about the murders committed by Jeon Won Ryu. The day when he read the news was still fresh in his mind.

It was what motivated Seungcheol to be a detective. To make sure such people were going to be put to justice.
