Left alone,
Abandoned,
Forgotten,
On your way to greater heights,
All I'd ever done for you was now in the past,
When I shielded you from the cold rain,
You never bothered to ask if I was cold too,
You get back home and dump me,
Only coming back when I'm to take some hits,
The rain hurts my back at times,
But I keep silent,
Why?
Because I do it for you,
Because you're my friend,
Sometimes it's the sun,
The hot Scorching sun,
But you know what?
I'd boil for you,
As long as your safe,
And I thought you loved me too,
But now,
You're getting a new umbrella,
So I guess I'll just lay here on the cold ground,
Till the wind takes me up again.
