Pilot Episode

"I stretched my arm to the knife on the table, making least of the noise and crawled myself to the corner where he was re-coding the program I installed in Maze. I reached out and used the knife to cut the USB cable joining my laptop to Maze." ,said Catherine as she played with the paper weight kept on the table.

"And Maze is?", said I as I noted the first statement down.

"The result of my curiosity, my invention - basically an AI."

"AI that is an Android kind of stuff?", I questioned trying to comprehend.

"Much more advanced than an Android.",she answered.

"So, what happened next?",i asked.

"He looked at me, cursed me and grabbed me by my throat" Catherine now stopped and looked out of the window. "Doc, you see those kids practising Karate there, even I learned karate as a kid, my dad really insisted on that and that exact moment of my life when he was choking me my reflexes from 10 years back striked me, I rotated my wrist which was holding the knife and and hit his neck sideways with the handle." she moved her hand the same way as she said and continued " I thought this would make him unconscious and I would get some time to get out of that place with Maze but ."

She turned around and came to me, "he stumbled back held the handle and aimed his punch at me, I shifted side again trying to get grip of the handle and instead i cut my hand and blood started running out of my hand , I kicked his main area he fell back and then I pressed the nerve near his neck which made him unconscious, my blood was on his neck I kept the knife in my pocket, reached Maze, took out the two chips that defined him, laptop and car keys and then left the place (-she sighed) and that's what happened".

"So you are saying you were saving yourself from him and didn't mean to kill him?", I stressed.

"Nope, but today I wished I should have",she lied down on the couch and closed her eyes.

"But the evidents and statements of Mr. Ben are quite clear that you attempted to kill him when he tried ruining your plans , and I quote him- destructive plans"

"You asked me what happened And I told you . I have nothing else to say."

"Catherine, how am I supposed to help you if you are not even interested in talking to me and are going to treat me like a stranger not like you friend."

"Oh, so is Ally back?"

"I was always there for you..."

"Judge said an hour a day and the session is (she looked at the clock) over, I need to go back in home arrest , nice meeting you Doc bye." she left the room.

I am Ally Mckanzie a psychologist and that was Catherine Pathak once my best friend .
