Prologue
The Black tent looked as empty and lonely as the old-wrinkled man sitting in it. Inside the black tent was only a pair of chairs on which his parents sat and a table. On the other side of the table sat the wrinkled astrologer who was the first one to predict Draven's future. The man had long beard flowing from his chin till his mid-neck which included a moustache making him look scary to a young child. His eyes showed nothing but a look of loneliness and something the 10 year old Draven could not think of although he had enough sense to not believe in astrology. As the man spoke, Draven looked around trying hard to not to listen to what the bearded man was saying but when the man took his name, he could not help but turn in the direction of the voice.
"This boy," the bearded man prophesized, "shall fall Intensely In love".
Draven snorted, earning a glare from his mother. He shrugged, turning his attention elsewhere but curiosity got the best of him making him pay attention to what the bearded man was going to say next.
"What do you---"
"That's a good thing, Isn't It?" Sharon interrupted her husband, uncomfortably.
Draven wanted to scoff at his mother's uneasiness but didn't want to earn another glare which would result into rebuke at home. Instead, he stared back at the astrologer trying to figure out what exactly the bearded man was up to. His friends would laugh at him if he'd tell them about his trip to an astrologer which he didn't intend to.
"Yes and no," the astrologer replied.
Draven frowned and shot a look at his parents. HIs father looked utterly confused while his mother looked upset about something.
"Love," the bearded man continued, "shall make his heart soft and tender...." He trailed off murmuring to himself.
Fear gripped Draven and he interweaved his fingers with his mother's unsure if he wanted to perceive the words next. The air turned thick if that was possible, in way it was increasing his anxiety.
The man stopped murmuring and all of sudden jerked forward, gripping the table on its sides. The grip on his mother's hand tightened as Draven waited.
Inhaling deeply he said, "The consequences shall lead to his death."
