'Katherine Scarlet Grey. Mostly called Katherine Grey, the most beautiful and gifted girl in their university. Katherine Grey was a striking figure, with a head of dark, silky hair that shone in the light, and piercing hazel brown eyes that seemed to see everything. She was a tall, slender figure, with long, willowy limbs that seemed to defy gravity as she glided across the room. Her clothes were always stylish and expensive, and she carried herself with the confidence of someone who knew they were attractive and intelligent. She had a quick wit and a sharp tongue, which she used to defend those who were weaker than herself. No matter the situation, she always seemed to come out on top, and she was respected by both her peers and her teachers as a natural leader.

She's gifted. Clever, has the looks, tall, kind, and humble.'

"That is so funny. Right, Katherine?" Brooke spoke.
"Nothing's funny about that Brooke," I said in response and she rolled her eyes.

'Arizona Brooke Lodge, a beautiful, modest, sometimes bitchy girl. Brooke is Katherine's best friend, more like a sister and she came from a very upscale family.'

"Oh come on Grey. You never laugh at my jokes." Nicholas complained.

"First of all, you need to stop telling those lazy jokes if you want a girl to like you, Nicholas," I said and he smiled.

"Uh, doesn't every single girl in this school like Nicholas?" Brooke mumbled which made Nicholas grin.

"Oh yeah, including you." I teased her.

"Shush your mouth, Katherine Grey! Senior year is so hard and you, spitting nonsense is not helping at all." Brooke walked away from us, probably annoyed.

"Hey, Brooke wait up!" Nicholas immediately followed her.

'Nicholas Hunt, a very tall, masculine, and handsome man, has known Katherine Grey since 8th grade. He and Katherine are best friends as well. He's extraordinary, and very kind, but can also be egotistic at some times. He also came from an upscale family, that's why half the girls at the university fall for him, because of his charms, and his life level.'

"Katherine?" Nicholas whispered.

"What do you want?" I replied.

"Do you know the answer to this?" He pointed at the question.

"Nice try, Nicholas." I refused to give him the answer and he sighed in frustration.

Senior year really has been tough for all of us. Especially for me. I needed to study a lot harder than I did the previous year. Why? Because of this guy, Andrew Lincoln Pierce.

'Andrew Lincoln Pierce, he's 6 foot tall and a muscular figure, with blue eyes that shone like sapphires and thick dark hair that framed his face. His broad shoulders and well-muscled torso were accentuated by the luxurious fabrics of his blazers. He has a confident gait, his face displaying a hard charisma that made him seem both unapproachable but charming at the same time.'

I glanced at Lincoln, and he really was handsome, smart, and tall, but I didn't care. Or so I thought.

Finally, the bell rang and our class is dismissed.

"So, that Lincoln hottie is really smart huh?" Brooke said.

"That's why I have to study a lot more, so I can stay at the top of the class," I responded.

"Nah, I don't think he can defeat 'THE' Katherine Grey," Nicholas said and made us chuckle.

"Stop it." I smiled.

Losing is the thing I hate the most, and everyone knows that.

The next day, the most horrible thing happened.

"Lincoln Pierce, choose your teammate." The professor said.

"I choose Isabelle." Lincoln decided.

"Ok. Now we have no choice but to put Katherine in your team and you will be the leader." The professor said.

This can't be happening. I'm partners with this guy and he's the leader? Great. I guess this is how it feels to be God's least favorite person.

"You all need to begin your works as soon as possible and there will be assigned rooms for each of your teams." The professor announced.

I head to our team's designated room and,

Holy crap. I can't believe what I'm seeing right now.
