B A C K G R O U N D Jina was born to a horrible family. Her father left and her mother became an alcoholic when she turned 1. Jina was always abused and her brother tried to protect her as much as he could. Jina became depressed and tried many times to end her life. At age 12 she found her love for singing and dance while her mom found her love for a new man. The man hated Jina for singing and raped her to make her shut up, that's when she developed haphephobia. she auditioned for BigHit because her brother saw her potential, she didn't. She passed. Jina became a trainee and she was happy but her mother wasn't. Things got worse for Jina after that. Her brother wasn't home to protect her because of school. She was alone and she was afraid. It was like that until she turned 18. She was a adult and she was able to leave her mother. But her mother got pregnant. Jina didn't like how she got pregnant but she wanted to take care of the kids. 9 months passed and her mom had twins. Her mom treated them awfully so Jina took them and ran away from home. This was a lot of pressure for Jina. She managed to tell a staff member at BigHit and her mother was arrested. Her brother became the legal guardian of his baby sibling. Jina was able to focus a bit more on her dream to debut. Soon that dream came true. 2017 she joined BTS. BTS and ARMYS accepted Jina and loves her with all their hearts.
